If you look at it from the perspective of a cynical grifter who just wants to show up, have fun and not take things too seriously, Myth are too much of a grab bag of randos to have any sort of chemistry, unity or group dynamic. It's no wonder she ditched them for a clique. You can't force people together and expect them to jive. It's ultimately a failure of EN management, same as always. If they didn't have the Hololive brand, I don't think they'd have the competence to establish, manage and grow a vtubing company. The problem is you need 3 things to succeed as a holo. Most of Myth had talent but lacked in other areas
Gura is the only one who combined the talent, the desire and the appreciation of the opportunity which is how she became such a huge success but she speedran disillusionment with streaming and now is on a hard recline. This may have been avoided by any sort of competition internally but EN has been so bad that she doesnt need to do anything to still be the cream of the crop
Mori doesnt care about hololive, and even maybe resents it, she cares about her music. And thats where she had her success
Ame has creative desire and likes the idea of being in a company but not necessarily hololive and she is a bad fit as a leader but has become the de facto one because the others are hopeless. The Japs who compared her to Haachama on debut were more right than wrong. She should be left to her own devices, appreciated when her experiments go well and ignored when they go poorly
Ina neither adds nor detracts from anything she is just kind of there. This would be fine in the much larger JP branch but hurts in EN where they need pillars

they tried with council and their "weekly" council meeting. Hard to find 5 people that mesh together without something to bind them. This is most likely to be a game, but the problem is that they have to enjoy the game at the same level and enjoy the parts that are either the same or are connected. Take minecraft for example. Even if 2 people both enjoy playing it, one could enjoy digging tunnels for 12 hours straight while the other wants to find a specific item. Force them to play together and shit will implode within 2 streams. Survival games on the other hand are perfect for this since it literally forces people to work together towards the same goal while allowing each to play the part the enjoy the most. With difficulty settings also allowing ample time to dick around. (I don't watch tempus, but people are pointing out they get along well and 2 clips i've seen of them are raft and project zomboid)
