If you beat any stage as Korone you can beat any stage as any other character while playing with your feet

i dont really feel like arguing about what stuff is or isnt the best is really that relevant anymore with this update. in the past update you could literally just get the exact build you wanted guaranteed 99% of the time no problem. with this update though it just isnt realistic. its much more realistic to remain flexible and make smart weapon picks that leave your options open for good collabs instead of hyperfocusing on specific collabs from the start. unless you really want to reset your runs at the start constantly for perfect rng or something

Well their are characters that are more straightforward than others, I think no one is horrible in the way Kiara was before the update. Miko has a weapon with a slow for kitting, a little sustain and a great special. Is a very rounded character. Also if you have a dual stick controller use it, makes things easier. Specially in Stage 2.

It's not that I am overwhelmed by the normal enemies but the events/waves. I eventually lose track of something and take massive damage, particularly the waves of owls that weave back and forth, the planted saplings with ranged attacks (there's a reason VS just has your projectiles cancel out enemy projectiles), or just the absolute gauntlet of shit at 19:30 on stage 1 hard. Also died to A-chan once but that was mostly on me.

Though at this point I have everything unlocked including all costumes, so it's just a matter of whether I want to beat stage 2/1H with halu with the weaker characters. Mumei on stage 1 is still the best for gold farming for anyone who cares, though with so many characters now it's barely necessary to deliberately farm.

Outfits need to be more expensive.

why do the mics in stage 2 have like eight times the health of regular enemies? It's not like you can avoid them either, on a purely horizontal map they come from both directions in a line so you can't even sneak past them, and the waves last for like 2 whole minutes. Feels like a really shitty dps check, if you had bad luck and didn't get a collab you can go fuck yourself.

Stage 1 hard feels like a tankiness check, it's easy to pass it without halu but with halu it's not the regular enemies, it's the increased damage from all the unavoidable bullshit. There's so much going on on the screen that I will definitely slip up eventually, and with halu you basically need energy drink or some movement upgrades or you get overwhelmed.

i would take horns on characters like sora or miko personally. what youre trading here is a more overall healing (uber sheep) with more healing procs (horns), with the latter being more important for a character who wants to proc heals to fuel their offense and dont necesarily care how big the heal is or that its not a food item

that said for characters that dont have heal/item interactions its kind of irrelevant anyway, because once i have something like bandage for heals im not taking uber sheep OR horns, when shit like membership and super items are competting for item slots

She's one of the girls where most of her power is loaded into her passive skills instead of her primary fire, the three second invuln + 100% move speed (8 if you pop special right after) to repo basically means you should be able to build whatever weapons or farming items you want and just kite forever even with minimal survivability. I went blind in stage 2 and hard 1 with her and Halu, got RNG fucked and had like one collab and still clawed out a win just hauling ass around the map for dear life as fast as possible.
I'm pretty sure the summon sword she gets at max primary fire and the 10% dodge bomb are trap skills, comfy runs with her would probably just be rushing collab of choice/movespeed passive, pop super to clear events or time gated hoards.

The percent applies to health, damage, speed, spawn rate, and spawn cap. The coin bonus is not retoractive, you have level it early to get the full benefit, no sitting it on level 1 then pumping it to 5 at 19 minutes for a big bonus, you need to work for it.

You increase the success rate in from the shop.

Haste is great, but if you're struggling to stay alive or kill enemies you might still be too early to benefit from it and then you could die. +20% damage or adding a second projectile like some weapon upgrades is better than 5% haste until you get your footing.
