I think it's funny that Okayu gets waaaaay more use of Korone's coffee than Korone does. Hell it seems to outright be the missing piece of her kit, once you have it you can run into enemies to generate special and then heal back up from the food her skills spawn. No. It's a bad idea to level Halu until you're very close to the end (with saved Anvils if you have them). All you need is the first one to start stacking up the gold. You could get another 2-3 levels if you're playing RBC, though, since your levels will outscale the waves in time.

Here's my prediction for an Ayame Nakiri character

Main weapon: Katanas. She throws them. Awakened katanas boomerang back around after being thrown.
Super: 'tis We! Several Ayames appear on screen and promptly explode, dealing damage around them
Passive 1: Dochi Dochi. Stacking bonuses to SPD, Haste, Evasion, and odds of holocoins dropping from enemies as long as you keep moving. Quickly loses stacks when you stop moving.
Passive 2: Lucky Oni. As long as you don't take damage, accumulate stacks that boost several stats. At full stacks, get increased chance of finding super item chests, golden yagoo or three-drop chests. Lose all stacks on taking damage.
Passive 3: Oujo. Massively increase item collection radius and heal very slightly when collecting holocoins. At full upgrade, chance to heal on collecting anything, including other healing drops.

I tried 3 times and she never survives 19th minute in Stage 1 normal.
I only died once (Okayu) when I played the other new characters.
I noticed that Sora ATK is too low compared the other new characters and can't have enough DPS to kill the mobs.
In the first and third games, I had Halu.
But in the second game, I didn't have Halu and still got killed in the 19th minute.

Moomay speed (max rank) is too slow to dodge the enemies and Halu level 3 made them harder to kill.

The current concept of super passive item sucks, you have to reserve 1 passive item slot in hopes of getting it, and if you want to try to snipe for specific passives, you can't take the normal version of the passive. It would be better if you have a chance to super upgrade one of your passives once you max out all of them.

Stream of Tears sucks and CEO Tears is insane for a basic item so it's best to keep CEO Tears as your last item once you have your 4 collabs (if you're doing "endless").
Broken Dreams isn't bad but not at the price of Elite Cooking and CEO Tears.

Have one of her passives or basic attack increase her special gauge gain, she's a defense oriented character anyway with her dodge and move speed, so all she need is to survive long enough to wait for her special to nuke the entire screen.

I focus on getting her base weapon max first.
I was lucky and got Limiter at level 2 or 3, it add +100 Pick Up Range per level, max +300 at level 3 so max ranked Moomay has 400 Pick Up Range.
The Limiter really helps me collecting those XP gems.
I got my first SPD Up at 5th minute and it really helped her kiting the enemies, a second SPD Up at 15th minute.
But I was struggling because I only had Full Meal and Just Bandage for healing.
I got Nurse's Horn as my last passive, around 15th minute too.
Limiter (collecting XP) + SPD Up (kiting) + healing (survival) are necessary to keep her alive.
I got Super Chatto Time but I never see any coins dropped by enemies, except by Golden Yagoo which I failed to kill because there were another boss + too many mobs chasing me.

Okayu is pretty good for farming coins. Was able to get this much in the regular 20 stage with out the maxed out coin enhancement from shop

3rd try, this time I changed strategy.
I refunded and bought SPD upgrade level 9 from the shop and Moomay had the same speed 74 like when I upgraded her twice in my prev game (max Moomay + SPD level 5 from shop + SPD Up twice when leveling up).
I didn't take Limiter and could circling the map gathering XP.
In my prev game, I had to run in straight line mostly because my lack of speed.
So the Limiter is not needed if you have enough speed.
My passive are full of survivability.

So what's the play for surviving endless Yagoos now? It seems like plushie is actually basically a dead slot now before he even spawns.
IIRC you needed ~400-500 HP previously to be survive bad RNG spike damage or no healing. Something like...Headphones, Horns, (Super) Daki, Bandaid, Full Meal, (Filler) may still be able to recreate that, since bandaid seems like a more reliable horn? Since you have around 40% defense now you could probably stop at 300 HPish instead.

Assume Haste builds still work on invuln spamming girls like Kronii too, presumably newer ones like FBK/Okayu as well.
Has anyone had any luck surviving with the new healers/lifestealers like Sora? Flat heals don't seem like they can keep up with Yagoo, but Sora does have a % heal boost (though I assume she'll die instantly the moment ult goes down without the above turtle build).
