Aesthetically, it depends on your personal aesthetic sensibilities. All told, Shondo's model's a little dull--the color scheme, while not quite as flat as her chest, is quite muted (especially when set against her skin tone). In addition, her model is not the most eye-catching. What model is "better" aesthetics-wise depends on your tastes, though.

The thing with Shondo is, I feel the dull colours are a perfect fit for her and the kind of personality she has, everything is aesthetically consistent. And yeah the rigging on ShyLily's model is superb, but I don't think it's very eye cacthing, it's just a girl in an undersized schoolgirl outfit, and the orca motif seems underutilized.

I'm not sure how to treat this argument. I do feel like her model fits her personality, but that doesn't make the model strong aesthetically, in its own right. Although, I suppose the way in which a model is used affects its aesthetic qualities--I am reminded now of the picture of Rosemi in Selen's model, which looks entirely different. And, again, comparison needs must be made between useful or usable aesthetics and the aesthetics of abstract design. For here, note Ina's new model (the really fancy one) and Polka's complicated designs--both of which are aesthetically pleasing, but to a degree such that they would be more enjoyable as artwork than as actual designs, their complicated designs being too much for the actual usability of the model. But even given these shondoless reservations, her model is still a little sparse, (although I am perhaps spoiled for choice.) Her neck and wrist ribbons are a good example of this. Their existence is the soul point of their aesthetic functionality, as they are without further explication on the theme of their natures. The dress is also somewhat simple, especially is that is really the major point of her outfit (although that is rather an obvious comment).

I like intricate designs as much as I like complex ones, what matters more to me is when a vtuber has a clear idea of what he or she wants to put on the screen then working it all towards that goal. In the case of Shondo, while I tend to prefer more complex and colourful designs, I appreciate the sheer cohesiveness of the aesthetic she puts on stream. The bgm, the voice, the colours, the personality, it all goes the same way, which gives it bonus points in my eyes.
