JP hololive is basically girls highschool 2.0. Many of them have formed close friendships and become emotionally reliant on eachother, even more-so in the early years. It seems like the JP girls were all mostly introverted and lonely when they were recruited (again especially the early gens). They bonded over time because of that.

Whereas in EN, I think they view it MUCH more professionally. Obviously part of their job is to look like their just casually gaming, so it's easy to be fooled... but yeah, even Gura has used words like "work colleague" before. Plus, they are all pretty sociable, and I doubt any of the EN's were ever loners enough IRL to form serious bonds with their work mates, you know? At least not on the same level as the JP girls.
