Spacial setup is important to sound quality. Obviously rooms that are bigger or smaller will produce a different sound if settings are not adjusted. Just imagine if you have good equipment and you move the mic a few inches away from your face than it was prior. That could change a whole hell of a lot. It's a good mic but it has a low signal so it generally needs a lot of gain. Personally I'm still convinced that it's just because of her GoXLR settings being messed up. Although I'd also be interested to know if she messed around with the presence boost and low cut switches on the back because if she turned the presence boost on that could probably explain some of why her sound is bad since that's a bad mix with chicken voice. I also think her compressor settings are all fucked up because you can really hear it struggling and sort of crackling at times since she's probably peaking and there's nothing a digital compressor can do about that. Nothing much that can be done about that though, it's not an issue that can really be explained in a SC or youtube chat well and I'm too autistic to think how I could relay any of this information to her without coming off as a know it all prick.
