Because they only have contact with hololive, so they think if you don't have more than 1k live viewers or more than 500k, you are a failure.

Picking 774 as your example, they exist since 2018 and almost all of them have less than 1k live viewers except for Patra and Haneru. By holofag reasoning, they are trash, because if you are part of an agency, it should get much bigger numbers. What holofags don't understand is that agencies are there to give a model, character design and resources for those vtubers to stream, instead of them having to pay a lot as indies. That's why folks go to agencies outside of hololive.
