Hololive members in general have strict guidelines and instruction, in addition having experience as part of their hiring criteria, in order to provide the viwer with the best time possible. German here. Trust me, nobody drops out of school early just because they don't like it. The way the system worked (when she was still in school) was that after elementary school you get moved into three different types of secondary schools BASED ON your report card. The "highest" of those three (Gymnasium) is the one that actually lets you study at universities when you complete it. Eh some people definitly deny the Gymnasium certificate. Especially in northern Germany where university education is valued a bit less some people deny it, because in the lower secondary schools you also get taught practical stuff like cooking and you finish a lot faster. Also some parents don't want their smart kids to go to Gymnasium, because of crab in a pot mentality. It happens rarely, but not never. There is a lot of fuckery to get Gymnasium certificates for people who are usually too dumb for it however, those things are certainly valued.

It sort of depends in what sector you end up working in. I've got 2 bachelors (IT support and Logistic management) but I ended up in the Maritime sector where those degrees mean jack-shit. I've done the operations planning for containerships in the past and I can tell you that most of dockworkers are drop-outs from school but still earn well above the national average. Some of my friends on the other hand work for the government and have their pay hardcapped by their degree.

Not him, but there is a stigma against Abiturienten in low class jobs (weltfremd, wissen nicht mal wie man nen Kaffee kocht) and against Hauptschüler in academic jobs (retarded)
On average academic jobs make more money than practical jobs, although there are certainly exceptions (Das Handwerk hat goldenen Boden).
However school absolvation doesn't matter that much, what matters is if you get a degree or an Ausbildung after school and what that degree is. But on average Gymnasiasten make more money due to easier access to academia.
