Mic aside, OBS audio filters can do magic, especially if you add VSTs.

Get the compression that's already there (like attack/release around 10ms and 30ms, ratio at 3:1, toggle it all until it sounds good), put up the gain if your mic is quiet. If the background noise becomes noticeable, get a noise canceller like Brusfri pirated or any other.

Add any EQ VST and adapt your sound (pic rel), if you wanna be fancy add a stereo enhancer and you can make any shit mic sound like good quality.

NTA but I'll toss in that the EQ moves depend a lot on your mic/room. That is the thumbnail from some YT video, but the moves are quite close to what one can try out at first (pay attention to what you're hearing, there is no silver bullet on audio). I would suggest not messing with a stereo enhancer because that stuff can easily tire out the ears. To be very honest, you don't need any fancy stuff for streaming, most chuubas can fix their audio by simply putting the mic close to their faces (not TOO close but you get the gist). Yeah of course most settins don't have a perfect "default" you can slap on anything, you have to tweak until it's right, but it's better than nothing for starter. Explaining every effect and its use depending on context would make a long ass post right now.

Stereo enhancing is indeed fancy as said, but can give surprisingly good results, no need to push it a lot, many effects are best when subtle.
