I quit watching chuubas overall. I just watch clips from trusted channels that dont clickbait and usually clip their oshi + maybe one or two other related chuubas.
Im not even a unicorn or an extreme gachi but it really feels scummy when chuubas build their foundation on something and then flushing it down the drain. No one can deny those date streams early on, and not being completely clear with the parasocial stuff. They just kept quiet about it while they grew their audience and now its like "oh, sorry we dont need you anymore".
If this happened to a largely female audience, all hell would let loose because of "emotional abuse" and "misleading" or whatever label you wanna attach to it, and of course it would somehow translate into mysogyny.
But hey, we are talking about lonely men here that have virtual youtubers as their ONLY source of companionship, and theres absolutely zero understanding for those people.

Almost all of these situations always boil down to the same basic pattern; streamers who want the benefits of forming emotional connections with their audience, but don't want any of the responsibility that comes with that. To want to get madonna clout, but not be judged by madonna standards. In essence, to have the privilege of just doing whatever, while having people validate you no matter what it is.

Without an oppressive (but also just) moral code, this is how people behave.

Her only good stream was Superliminal anyway. After the Counter-Strike stream she became flanderized as a salty gremlin, and it was all over

It did and yumejoshi got treated like shit for being angry about it too, stop acting like you're special. The only difference is they made enough of an impact to actually affect the person who inflicted it.

>yumeoshi
I can smell your sadness from here, rotten women. Only fujos use that word to pretend they aren't fujos.
