I can think of two people that came back after long hiatuses recently and in both cases they started with trying to do one thing but quickly pivoted into just having a long zatsudan instead. I don't know what your fanbase is like but most likely that's all they'll really want, to be able to talk with you again. you can focus on doing fancier ideas once you've eased back into streaming and word's spread to the more distant fans that you're back.

Is it okay to shill myself instead of others here? I started streaming on the first of the month and feel like I could maybe handle having a viewer or two now that I've got some (but not all) of the pre-stream jitters under control and most of the technical kinks worked out. I know /asp/ is a thing and probably the better, or at least more expectant, place for shilling, but I want to know what my options are.

I'm just a PNG and my audio setup is not the best, but still serviceable (I hope). I've been alright without having an audience but part of my streamer reps is going to have to be interacting with and performing in front of a crowd. Just thinking about it is making me pretty nervous, though.

How do I save a friendship with my oshi when it's based on a lie?
A few months ago, as a mean spirited joke I made an account where I pretended to have cancer (picrel). Afterwards I went on my main account and said I knew the alt account, how he was a dear friend of mine, and how much impact she had on him during his last days.
She herself said that the alt account "lit a fire under her", and solidified her passion for streaming. So all and all it's a net positive, but I'm starting to feel extremely guilty about the situation, and want to come clean while still maintaining the friendship.
These past few months this streamer has grown on me, and I care deeply about them. They are so kind and compassionate to every single viewer, and the last thing I want to do is break her trust.
