I like Ironmouse but learning this just feels kind of weird. It's fine if you like anime and are a /v/tuber when you're bedridden and have nothing else to do but when you have a kid on top of that? It's just kind of sad. You can't play kawaii and hide a kid.

Probably that the point of a vtuber model is to track the users expressions, to then reflect them via the rigging and that to make that possible, the base illustration for it needs to have a somewhat neutral expression.

She's a bad parent for leaving her child (see >>3066203)

She has CVID (AIDS but everyone has a tiny chance of getting it since it's just a genetic lottery bullshit), why would you think she'd be able to have a child?
She has to live in a literal bubble. Even (You) getting close enough would kill her.

It’s decent, but not great. I think the issue is that people who like VTubers overestimate their ability when they sing, not unlike how little girls think of their favorite boy band. Even if the band is untalented, you won’t make them believe it. Kind of the same thing here, sort of. It’s okay enough but lacking.

It's more like we understand the difference between singing in a bedroom whose acoustics are just a little bit of sound foam, compared to singing in a proper music studio with a trained sound engineer smoothing out the unsteadiness.

I've always felt really bad for IM. Didn't even know shit about her having a kid. She's one of the only vtubers who I feel truly deserve to have simps and others financially helping her. She can't even ask for funds for a more ergonomic room set up without feeling bad about it.

The point is that only a scant few singers are as good as you think they are, and everyone else would just be average if they didn't have sound techs fixing everything.

I’m comparing them without bias (trying to eliminate bias anyway) to some extent. For example, I dislike Nyanners but still think she sounds better by comparison. Same with Gura, but since I actually like Gura, it would be wrong to use her by comparison (because of bias).

Here is an example of Nyanners: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqMTnmTyX4M

I’m not saying mouse is bad, only that she isn’t great. For that matter, neither is Nyanners, however, Nyanners is better at singing. But, you won’t likely agree with anything I’ve said, so it’s all pointless.

That’s not good singing. But I find it difficult to criticize her because I don’t dislike her. It’s just my opinion, and that Nyanners is clearly better, even though I do somewhat dislike Nyanners. I’m kind of amazed you cannot detect the difference p, as it’s more than obvious.

Fair. I really think Mousey is better than Nyanners, but to each their own.

>> No.3072806

I liked Mousey's Opera songs but not the other songs. Don't know the music term for it, but I dislike how her voice vibrates too much. Same with nyanners, her voice sounds weird whenever you try to close your eyes and focus on it. The only karaoke streams I'd enjoy is from Gura or Suisei.

Actually she isn’t, as it’s supposed to be utilized when appropriate and not sound quite like that. It sounds very robotic. Like a machine used to adjust the voice. Listen to other singers use vibrato, then come back and listen again.

Her voice vibrating too much is just lack of practice as in, actual training. Beautiful sustained notes need to maintain the frequency. If someone oscillates too much, that is not beautiful. When you are shy and nervous and singing, you shake and so does your voice, which is corrected by training. Learning to how to do it is beautiful in itself as our vocal chords are made to vibrate (good but bad) and mastery over them is beautiful.

>> No.3077695

Learning to sing for real would need a teacher. But she can't get one because... well she has to be in close proximity...

about that. even though its none of our business. but why are so many of you up in arms about it if it is true.

"she abandoned her kid" first of all think of all shes able to do since shes gotten stronger, then think of how much a kid needs and also runs around. do you think someone who is on oxygen, has to struggle to take a few steps, has gastric issues when she eats a french fry. and couldnt speak for almost a year could reasonably take care of a child? also if she doesnt want to talk about them then we should respect her privacy. I know, saying that on here of all places, but come on.

>> No.3078701

>>3078580
I'm not mad about it. I was just listing the reasons why it's not posted here, or why it sounds nonsensical. And even if it's true, as I mentioned, >>3066203 mentioned that it'd be worse for both of them if Mouse had to take care of the child with her condition. The faggots who say "where there's a will there's a way" haven't seen how degenerative stuff (be it of the body or of your defenses) fucks you up.
Still, it's the only rrat about her, so people will always talk about it. It still surprises me thather only rrat is the ironrrat.
