This. Nothing about them outside the character matters to any one of us. They know it and we know it. Only the super schizos don't realize it.

Depends on the Holo. Generally I treat them like any other animu character, there is a big difference between the character and a irl person. This is your waifu zone.

Some however blur the line quite a bit since they are either method actors or are not acting at all. This is the danger zone.

You'd have to be genuinely autistic to think they're not just being themselves, exaggerated to different degrees. Normal people put on different masks when talking to friends, family, co-workers etc. This is just another mask. Defining their unique streaming traits as 'roleplaying', 'acting' or being in-character are a lot less accurate than terming it a 'brand' they stick on this version of themselves.

The first thing I did after getting into Hololive was find out as many roommates as I can by doing my archive reps. It's better to find that stuff out sooner rather than later before you get too attached, like ripping off a band-aid.
