React commentary and illustrative purposes don't fall under critique. Also what youtube practically strikes and what is technically legal are two different things. Youtube can strike things that are technically allowed but you'll have to go through a lengthy appeal or even go to court to get it through and they won't strike things when the copyright holder doesn't put it into their content ID system even when it's infringing.
React videos with the content on screen are very much copyright infringement, there's just no one suing most of the time.
