Back in the day, when I looked Sana's design for first time genuinely thought that was made on a cheap mmd/yandere simulator program.
I mean, Cover brought for Kronii the Fate/Extra illustrator and then in the same trailer the showed this shit (picrel).
This plus a heavy Aussie accent and lack of streaming got her down.
La scarle' has the design of a latina-gringa milf like Sofia Vergara. This is new and she knows how to take advantage of it.

The thing is, Sana has a really good artist too. He's even done really good characters with dark skin before. It's 100% on Cover for not telling him "Something's wrong here, fix it. We'll pay extra if needed."
(Same goes for the new StarsEN, actually. None of their artists are bad, so there's NO reason their models should be the way they are unless someone at Cover got that and said "This is fine, we'll take it")

The difference is largely in their hairstyles. They both have curvaceous and mature body types, however Sana wears childish twin-tails, while Scarle's design has her wearing her hair down, like a grown ass woman.

When your character is curvy/busty, and especially if they're fucking brown, you don't fucking give them a childish hairstyle. It looks fine on a character like Bae, because she looks, sounds and often acts like a kid.

Look at this. You don't put a hairstyle like this on a tall, busty character. It literally conflicts with the design. That is why Scarle's design is superior.
