At least Ina feels consistent in the character she presents. A calm shrine maiden who likes to draw and just so happens to have this creature living with her which occasionally causes a dark side to peek out. Kiara was never, is never, and will never be considered as the face of anything Hololive related.

Regarding Amelia's status as the protagonist and leader of ENs, there's no denying it unless you're a contrarian or a retard. The lore clearly separates her as the only regular human and the one who is investigating the mythological creatures inside her gen. Larping as a time traveler tainted her lore, unfortunately, so she's no longer seen as a regular human by the fandom, which was the whole fucking point to begin with. I don't know how Cover would handle that situation if they decide to include the EN on "canon" media projects like videogames or the Alternative thing they are developing.

Mori is the poster child in Japan as she's seen as the coolest of the group. Gura is the record smashing meme shark that's cute and funny and has gathered enough attention from around the world to make the ENs a force to be reckoned with. Yet, their popularity is not enough for them to be considered protagonists or leaders. Ina and the rest of the group (sans maybe Kiara, because of course) pretty much see Ame as the representative of the group, often praising her for taking care of the group and being the most supportive out of them all.

There's a reason why Ame is placed in the middle when you see group art. You just sense the protagonist aura emanating from her.
