I'm using vtub studio trial for the mocap but feels wonky, and rigging with live2d free as well (art had too many layers so for now i had to collapse some)
I still don't understand why the eyes dance like that and the eyes close so easily, anyone has any tips? should i change software? the mocap doesn't show these movements either so maybe i fugged up the rigging?

The eyes might be losing tracking. Are you using a webcam or wear glasses? Both of those make eye tracking a struggle though I think they’ve improved webcam tracking. You can also look into editing the parameter values in VTube Studio themself. Default values aren’t always the best for eyes and mouths I’ve found.

My glasses fuck with face tracking so much. Especially some coatings you can get on them make it really hard if there is glare from your monitor. I ended up moving my webcam over so that the light from my monitor doesn't directly reflect from my glasses into the webcam. It helped a lot.

I think the people who are more paranoid are much more likely to gravitate to being vtubers instead of using their actual face or something. Whether it matters if you are doxxed or not kind of depends on who you are and what kind of content you produce.
