She’s honestly closer to JP than EN even. HoloEN doesn’t really play their characters.
She actually plays into her character a decent bit, but it also almost feels like she IS her character in some ways. The Wose is unironically a seiso cutesy girl who has fun acting smug but is a bit of a mess and awkward, when her character is supposed to be a smug/dom acting character who is constantly dropping her spaghetti. It works out really well.
It also helps that she just isn’t controversial. She’s just a nice girl who’s fun due to her clumsiness/social ineptness (mostly irl based on stories, she has plenty of charisma on stream) and genuine passion with shit like the investigation stream.

I am not. I just liked Rosemi's content from last year way more than I like what she has done this year. Finana is stupid and as per the recent trap yab, she takes battles no one fucking expects her to take, but, at the very least she is true to who she is and very comfortable with her chat if she had the gall to tell them all that.

This is a much more accurate statement. I’m not surprised Rosemi dropped Sekiro though, it takes a lot of effort to play and dying nonstop in front of 1k people probably takes its toll. Rosemi is at least willing to touch difficult games, meanwhile Finana won’t touch a game if you can’t pay to win somehow or it’s brain dead easy, even though she was begged to play Elden Ring. Finana strikes me as a virgin with a big ego that never really got much male attention until she started doing this gig. Rosemi on the other hand is quite possibly one of the most attractive vtubers in the world unironically, and has talked about the times she gets hit on and suffers from the opposite problem of too much male attention. It's more the fact that she's more confident/competent as a streamer now than she was prior. As well as being only slightly better than Rosemi is in her current state right now.

That said, the Groomers/Attention Whores in her Chat etc are unbearable. And her propensity to say stupid shit and attract yabs as well (especially recently) is very much a point against her too.

In the end it's very much just a "pick your poison" situation between two chuubas who could have been so much more than what they are now (and maybe they could still be if there's still a chance for them, you never know), you just kind of have to decide which one is the less shit of the two atm.

Also they're actually pretty cute together in the one-on-one collabs they have together ngl.

I took around 3-4 months break from watching Rosemi (and chubas in general, you know how it is when you change jobs and location, takes a while before you can get back into the old style of live, sometimes you just move on and start new hobbies but I digress) and I gotta agree that the charm wears off once you realize there isn't much more than "cute girl playing games" in her case. All her interests seem surface level since she hasn't picked them up after going fulltime (TGC, FGC, piano, drawing, creative stuff to name the few) and the game choice is shit. I guess the honeymoon period was longer in her case because of how relatable she seemed to be (similar interests, sheltered kid and so on) but in the end you realize she's kinda basic and not in a good way since that's source of her lack of confidence too.

She doesn't play any Zelda games cause if she does she "feels" she has to "play them all."
She dropped Sekiro and won't play Elden Ring because "they're hard to stream and because of external circumstances."
Skyrim and open world games are too big and she feels she'll never finish them, but GTA is okay.

i will play devils advocate and say that i think for an open world game gta can be easily played as linear stuff that guides you from mission to mission so i get why it's "easier" than Skyrim or Oblivion. That said they are still extremely accessible and nobody expects her to do all quests, she might as well do one guid/main story and experience a decent chunk of content. Zelda thing sounds retarded, only OOT and Majora's Mask are related, everything else can be played separately and you won't miss anything.

I was just about to say that I don't think a game like Skyrim's main story will take longer to beat than a game like GTA's because of the cinematic flair it has, so I checked on howlongtobeat for reference. I have never actually played either game, but it looks like I was right in my assumption. According to them, GTAV's main story takes around 31.5 hours to complete. Meanwhile Skyrim Special Edition is listed as 25.5 hours.
That's at least 2 or 3 Rosemi streams shorter than Skyrim.
