27446657 No.27446657 [Reply] [Original]

I have started to see Pippa quite a bit around in fanart amd stuff, which leads me to think that she's somewhat popular for a VTuber from a small corpo. Why is that?

If you mean you see her around a lot here, it's because well she's one of the /here/chuubas who is totally open about it and isn't a 2view.

If you're starting to see her around everywhere period well that's something. I mean she's actually one of the if not the most popular Phase girls right? I recall she can hit like 500ccv at least a few weeks ago when I checked a stream, that is actually pretty impressive considering it's closing in on the bottom end of NijiEN tier.

IMO Phase Connect girls have neat designs. It's not necessarily "great" or anything, but the color scheme, symmetry, etc looks pretty nice. To think that visuals contribute to ~75% of a vtuber's success/popularity, it's quite a clever strategy to put more attention on this important element.

I want Pippa to look at me like this while she makes me cum with her feet. Imagine the pure look of utter disdain, while she is secretly very much into it, giving into her sexual desire and furiously moving her slender, porcelain legs. You would be able to see a puddle of her lovely juices form beneath her all the while. I bet that her slippers hide two very beautiful, womanly feet and 10 little precious painted girly toes, ripe for a suckling. I want Pippa to lick her soles clean of my seed after the act is done. I want Pippa to make me cum with her feet...
Maybe Pippa has enough experience with grooming that she wants to drive you insane by never completely satiating your desires. Maybe she gets off to the idea of your prostate burning hot while the only thing of sexual interest to you that swirls around in your head all day now is her cute feet. Maybe she wants you in this perpetual state of agony, an-non. Maybe, just maybe.
Also, Pippa now has a fast enough chat that members streams are more than warranted.
I think she should start off with streams where she talks about her feet in detail, going over her size, her arch depth, and scent along with putting her new ASMR mic down by her feet and using it as a footrest. Nothing overly sexual, light teasing at most in the style of say "uh oh an-non I've got your ears between my toes what are you gonna do~", keep it fairly casual, the "why would you get off to this?" vibe makes it all the better.
More of an extreme but a wholly welcomed one would be a footcam at times, as much as it would be appreciated I understand if there's no bare skin, so thin stockings would suffice provided everything is well lit. Spreading your toes in the light there should be a clear distinction between what's stocking and what are your adorable toes. Another suggestion would be painting your toes themed for special occasions, subscriber milestones, anniversaries, etc. and posting pictures, but making sure to provide a proper download link as YouTube's embedding can be annoying to extract from.
Thanks for reading, here's to an exciting future of you making me cum with your feet, Pips!

I've been membered to her for a year now, and Pippa's position the way I understood it is "normal." She's not an extremist on either side. It's pointless to ascribe a label to it.

>> No.27454824

>>27454661
yeah, libertarianism is normal until people rationalize the abuse of different powerful institutions, usually the state and corporations, in order to protect their psyche
also this is not really about labels (even if those are ised to convey an idea) and "normal" changes with time, specially when subversive forces are at play
and moving along with normal for normalcy's sake is the opposite of based, regardless of your specific politics

>> No.27455012

>>27454824
Eh, I'm European and to me nothing that you said actually matters because politics is entirely divorced from our lives and we don't pay attention to it. "Normal" here simply means "normal" in the sense that she has heterogeneous opinions about this or that based on what she thinks is good or bad. Personality before politics.

>> No.27455228

>>27455012
Yeah, most people have heterogeneous opinions. We use labels to roughly describe sets of those opinions instead of endlessly listing them all. Being based is to a great extent about having the nuts to voice those opinions even at a potential cost.
Also, isn't the divorce you speak of a troubling sign of the lack of power of the average citizen? I am not saying to make everything political, but not paying attention and not discussing quite important shit (most things that passes as politics is just theater) is just asking to get dominated by a bunch of psychos. I could only imagine having such mindset if I lived in anarchy or minarchy.

>> No.27455603

>>27455228
Not the guy you are replying to, but also European.
I used to care a lot more about politics, but it never got me anywhere. My "team" won sometimes, lost sometimes, and everything kept getting worse either way.
At the end of the day, I only have one life, and I don't want to waste my time obsessing about things I can't impact short of dedicating my career to it. I'll have my opinions, comment if the mood takes me, but largely ignore it for things I actually do want to spend my time doing.

>> No.27455614

>>27455228
>Also, isn't the divorce you speak of a troubling sign of the lack of power of the average citizen?
I am a Slav. There was never a time in history the government wasn't foreign, antagonistic to us or simply exploitative. That's the difference between us and the Anglo's or Western Europeans. We never had the notion that "politics" is anything that has any relation to us, the people, in any capacity beyond us trying to cheat it or protect ourselves. In other words even something nominally idealistic like "democracy" is to us and me just another link in that same chain. I and we don't pretend it has any relation to us. This system is actually stronger that you think, because we perpetually see the ruling structure as an enemy and it is entirely filtered from the way we actually live our lives and our system of values. It simply doesn't matter, it's just something you pay taxes to because you have no other choice. Both the feudal system and communism taught us to nod our heads politely in "agreement" but everyone just ignores everything in a deeper sense.

It is your idealistic sense that politics, governments etc. work or are somehow meaningful that perpetually lead you into trouble. Here the actual nondescript culture of life and life itself are just completely separate from all of that.

>> No.27455855

>>27455603
Understandable, although I would not frame it in terms of teams. I guess all roads lead to either a cycle of oppression and revolt, sometimes even controlled and sometimes even subtle...or to prepper Waco territory. Or so it seems.

Worth noting nothing was on last week when Pippa was on break. The streams are basically as and when but fixed on those two days only.

I don't consider anarchy a stable state. Historically, we had anarchy at some point, yet we ended up where we are today. If today you got rid of all the states, tomorrow you'd end up with warring tribes and the day after you'd end up with states again.
Keep in mind: I'm not making a case to embrace the world we have today, or that things couldn't be better. There are plenty of things wrong with the world, but I don't see the solution to be an erosion of state and government.

>Hoppe kind of has an answer for that. He thinks second best is monarchy and encourages secessionist movements to arrive to a patchwork of micromonarchies
I know about his views: the point is, we had that before and the patchwork of monarchies formed empires, fought and conquered each other and ultimately we ended up where we are today. Unless you have a practical way to keep people from banding together for a common purpose you won't be able to preserve a state of anarchy.
Not to mention that there is nobody to tell the monarch to grant his subjects all the rights that would even allow them to leave, secede, etc.
To me it seems like it's mostly about re-shuffling the cards, starting anew so that a 'just' order would emerge from it, and it it turns into some authoritarian hellscape it's 'still' Anarcho-Capitalism and 'just' because it emerged after the anarchist reset we did, making it thus more 'aesthetic' to people, even if it serves no real purpose.
But my point is: we already live in that very world. At some point in history we had a state of anarchy and we ended up where we are today. And clearly that didn't work out perfectly.

True. This would lead to loose federations/empires. They would expand less now due to the ramifications of current weapons of mass destruction. Also they would compete for citizens/subjects. And, even if long term it ends up being just a reshuffle, it would be a good thing since we would enjoy the lower average taxation of monarchies in the meantike and might even converge towards a less restricitive set of political orders. The point is if you created conditions where something like this would happen, with a complete structural breakdown, you wouldn't be able to maintain high tech weaponry either and it probably wouldn't even serve much of a purpose as these are strategic weapons, which don't help you against marauders on your own territory.
And even if you did somehow created this anachronism of a society, where you ended up with an old-fashioned monarchy, a kind of warrior aristocracy, as long as they wouldn't strictly regulate the capitalist logic and do everything in their power to create a world that would give the average Libertarian nightmares, they would only find themselves dethroned by the merchants again, because in a capitalist system it is the merchants who accumulate all the wealth and thereby all the power. And it would be only a matter of time until they usurped the thrones again.
In fact, when it comes to monarchs, we are already ruled by a kind of aristocracy. Merchant princes who own most of the land and the platforms for people to do commerce on which they rent to their subjects. If you want a taste of that kind of thing, you can have it right now.

The monopolizing aspect of capitalism happens not due to capitalism itself, understood as private property, free trade, money system and competitive markets, but due to their collaboration with states (except for some rare exceptions due to high barriers of entry stablished by current tech and network effects), so it is perfectly possible that the reshuffle would lead to a more desirable state of affairs (at least along Hoppean lines), specially considering the quirks of path dependent processes. I doubt marauders would be a problem, except maybe if the reshuffle is messy as fuck (and even then, it would be a temporary problem until they turn into PMCs that adjust among the new and multiple spheres of influence). Our current global situation is actually more akin to technocratic economic fascism, using commie and commie like ideologies (obviously not orthodox marxist commie) as either paintjobs or as tools of control and subversion (although formally that is not what is presented nor it captures the complete heterogeneity of systems nor the main spheres of influence in a proportional manner).

Pretty much any example of free markets that we have assume a pareto distribution of wealth - you can even see this in terms of sexual marketplaces on dating websites. A handful of people at the top will own the majority of everything. And due to that disparity they wield more effective power in a pacified, capitalist society, where law is a matter of contract rather than force of arms. If anarchy could maintain itself without a Leviathan that bullies everyone into submission, we would not live in the world we live today.

>Our current global situation is actually more akin to technocratic economic fascism
Fascism is by nature corporative (in the sense of society working like a 'body' where different parts are responsible for different tasks but there is common purpose). It emphasises class collaboration rather than class competition. Hierarchy is seen as a natural consequence of the different, innate abilities of people and not something meant to be abolished. It is also a system of popular rule, where the rule is legitimised by the people for the people - even if the form may be dictatorial, the dictator acts in the collective interest. It is most certainly not Marxist as it does not aim to create a classless society. It seeks to mediate between the classes and employ their different abilities for the collective good.
In fact, Liberal ideologies - including Libertarianism and ultimately even Anarcho Capitalism - have more in common with Marxism than Fascism. Just like Marxism, Liberals believer that people are fundamentally equal and capable of accessing universal reason to make informed decisions to maximise their individual happiness. Both Liberal ideologies and Marxism aims to liberate the individual from essential bonds and grant it a maximum of individual freedom. The only thing they disagree about is the means to achieve this.
People need to consider why individuals differ in outcome when participating at the market; Liberalism believes that some put in more 'effort' than others or make 'smarter' decisions (they rarely inquire where this 'effort' that is put in or the 'smarts' to make the decisions come from - ultimately yielding an incomplete model of reality since if people are fundamentally equal, how come some end up filthy rich while others end up poor as shit?). Marxists go a step further, arguing - under the premise of fundamental equality - that it must be due to different material conditions that enable some to make better decisions (due to better education, starting capital, connections, etc.), which leads them to the conclusion that in order to create a just society the material conditions need to be equalised first. In a sense, the Marxists have a better explanation of reality than the Liberals (including Libertarians, etc.), but fundamentally all of them are wrong, since they are starting from empirically false premises.

People are not equal.

Hoppe does rail against the assumption of equality though. Although I think that is not the emphasis in Democracy: The God That Failed. Also paretto distributions are common, but shocks can shift away from that distribution for some time (like technological innovation). Although I have no problem with a Paretto distribution (nor Paretto efficiency, which is actually a good thing), which is not the same as monopolization (descentralization is often good, but some processes might require centralization and the right balance can arise organically). The only valuable understanding of equality, imo, is equality under the law as a consequence of avoiding a special pleading fallacy in the application of a set of organizing rules.
Fascism is, economically, about the public/private or corporate/governmental merge. What you point out about class collaboration (opposed to class conflict and also very Hegelian, guy thag believed the state to be the encarnation of the divine) is also true and probably a healthier way of dealing with with human biodiversity, choice and culture.

PD: Liberals and libertarians do not have to be philosophically materialists necessarily, unlike marxists, for example. For example, I believe in mathematical neutral monism that some clueless materialist would accuse of platonism, despite being a monist position.

Yes, but they don't prevent the general tendency.

>Paretto distribution (nor Paretto efficiency, which is actually a good thing), which is not the same as monopolization (descentralization is often good, but some processes might require centralization and the right balance can arise organically).

Yes, but my central point was that the aristocracy won't rule for long under these conditions. Equality under the law means that the merchant can challenge the prince. And if the merchant class has all the money, it also has all the power. You would ultimately end up living in the same world we live today.

To me, this does not sound like something you could maintain outside of lab conditions. Certainly, it would be interesting to conduct these sorts of experiments in a simulation, where you can freely determine the initial conditions, but in reality - at least if we look at history - we typically see a very strong tendency to form political clusters. The viability of a system also depends on a great number of factors, and size of the political entity also factors into it. That which creates great conditions for people to live in, resulting in people voting with their feet across the border, might not maintain its greatness over a lengthy period of time. The Libertarian argument for open borders goes that people who don't find jobs, who can't contribute in meaningful manner, etc. would simply leave and go elsewhere. But factually, we don't see that to be the case. The entire phenomenon of urbanisation is proof of that. If they can't afford rent, they build squatter settlements, with small farms and livestock in their backyards; prostitution, crime, disease, etc. becomes rampant. But how to address these issues without restricting freedom? And it's not like these phenomena were particular to modernity; we have seen all of this throughout human history. In that regard, I would argue, reveals itself another aspect that Libertarians share with Marxists: the unshaken belief that their ideal of a society has never been tried by virtue of the fact that we're not living in it right now.

I am not appealing to an ideal society, but describing a desired state and conditions for it to be more likely to happen. I do not care if people decide to go for small farms or other ways of living. If the discussion is about crime, I am willing to test incremental solutions for security services (starting point obviously being the current situation), formally or informally (and then we would be entering the realm of strategy and viability). Open borders could be replaced or understood as local borders and private borders, wherever the different set of incremental solutions (and of varying speed, hopefully properly observed) may lead. One could then decide based on the tendencies that emerge.

>I am not appealing to an ideal society, but describing a desired state and conditions for it to be more likely to happen.
The problem is that 'ideal society' (if judged from a Libertarian position) might not be what reality optimises for outside of lab conditions with specific constraints. Countries most capable of asserting themselves politically, of conquering their neighbours, etc. are not necessarily those that offer the most freedom to their citizens, but they might bring stability and therefore create a space of prosperity that would exceed that which multiple smaller nations in a more warring state (or under greater threat from outside forces, foreign hordes, etc.) could generate - making them ultimately more attractive despite the lack of comparative freedom.

>I am willing to test incremental solutions for security services (starting point obviously being the current situation), formally or informally (and then we would be entering the realm of strategy and viability).
Historically, when people relied on others for security services they usually ended up being ruled by them. And when it comes to crime: ideally, you want to live in a country where there is none. It doesn't improve your standards of living to know that the guy who raped your wife and burned down your house while you were busy at work is going to be publicly beheaded. The damage is already done. You don't want to live nearby a squatter settlement, where the dregs of society live in their own excrement, resentful at those who found a proper place in society, often lacking the intellect to contribute in a meaningful manner and thereby also the foresight to make reasonable decisions and properly assess the likelihood of getting away with whatever crime they intend to be doing, not to mention the impulsive character traits often associated with such people, completely overriding all reason they might be capable of otherwise.

I think you could be ovestimating the stability offered by a much greater degree of violence monopolization (and the ultimate implications over the safety of private property and its extent) in comparison to the instability induced by unnecessary restrictions for the citizenship and inefficient/corrupt bureaucratic institutions and control mechanisms. Also prosperity often follows after ample economic freedom (and sound money). We could also remmeber what you pointed out:
>The viability of a system also depends on a great number of factors, and size of the political entity also factors into it. That which creates great conditions for people to live in, resulting in people voting with their feet across the border, might not maintain its greatness over a lengthy period of time.
Which states the obvious attractor node of the dynamics at hand and how stability and freedom are not necessarily at odds (although ofc they can be) and how those relate to what is ultimately more attractive. After all, how much control we have over our own destiny is the ultimate wealth that could include even health.

Regarding crime (of which none is already an ideal), technology just makes it increasingly easier to attain safety from "the dregs of society", that might not necessarily exist thanks to charity (and strategic decisions taken by related organizations) or whatever method (the already second best option of) small monarchies are willing to put forth.

>I think you could be ovestimating the stability offered by a much greater degree of violence monopolization
Not at all: we can see that it in plenty of South American or African countries (as well as certain places in the US even) that having a central state with a monopoly of violence does not necessarily result in a peaceful society. In fact, I attempted to emphasise that law enforcement and the threat of punishment, regardless of whether it comes from a state or a private actor, does not deter crime in general, simply because some people have a natural pre-disposition to criminal activity or simply lack the intellect to make informed, rational decisions.
My position is that the Libertarian approach to open borders, i.e. granting everyone the opportunity to try their luck, seems naive, since people are not the rational actors Libertarians believe them to be. There are psychological factors beyond a mere cost-benefit analysis - not to mention that plenty of people are, due to lack of intellect alone, unable to do the latter in an informed manner.
In general the idea that a free society would necessarily be in everyone's interest assumes that people are equally capable of making informed decisions to their own benefit. But the bell-curve has two sides and plenty of people, if given the freedom to freely decide what to do, would end up in a worse position than they would be in a more traditionalist society where they'd be serfs, bound to a prince, who would tell them what to do and provide them with the means to live a simple yet dignified life, without ending up in debt, addiction, miserable poverty, etc.
That being said: I am not trying to make an argument in favour of medieval serfdom (although I do believe that our modern perspective on it is more of a caricature than historical reality), but I am highly sceptical of any kind of utopian models of society - especially when they are rationalist in nature (in a reductionist manner, that leaves out the irrational, tribal, instinctual side of man) and don't consider the entirety of human nature; basing it on what they'd like people to be, or what may apply only to a tiny, intelligent and conscientious subset of society.

Well, what we are is already opaque in itself and our grasp of it is under attack from ideologues and even institutions allegedly dedicated to the understanding of our nature (example: Gina Rippons and her feminist activism regarding "neurosexism"). I agree with your assessment of the conventional (or often regarded as such) libertarian position on open borders, at least applied directly to the current state of affairs. Although I also believe that, specially in our current circumstances, new proposals are emerging (sometimes not really new, depending on the level of detail they are described with) and some are even gaining power despite the hellish landscape they shamelessly promote (like woke bs (that often fails at even technically being a proposal), or that which uses woke bs (the lawful evil to the aforementioned chaotic evil, if only to make the conversation funnier), just as examples), so it is only sensible to offer proposals and concordant action that encapsulates the functional aspect of a traditionalist outlook that you have pointed out while simultaneously exploring new institutions (formal or not, the successful hopefully adopted formally as required) that are minimally restrictive as necessary for each individual and their families. I think the secessionist sentiments are growing stronger.

>Well, what we are is already opaque in itself and our grasp of it is under attack from ideologues and even institutions allegedly dedicated to the understanding of our nature
I believe that empiric truth is self-manifesting while maintaining a false narrative requires continuous effort. If people want to sincerely improve society, they will have come to terms with what reality is like, not with what they'd like it to be. An untruthful model of society leads you to wrong conclusions.

My perspective on life is fairly essentialist in nature and I believe humanity to be far more driven by primordial impulses than most people would like to believe. I consider culture more of a manifestation of underlying realities than the thing which shapes them. In that regard, I worry much less about the whole woke-ish nonsense than other people in dissident spheres. I consider it a threat insofar as it is totalitarian ideology, which does consider culture to shape reality and thus requires censorship and suppression of anything that contradicts it, since exposing people to rival (and in their mind immoral) ideas alone already makes them a reality that negatively affects peoples lives, making it an act of violence. Since the things that they would consider problematic may overlap with things that I enjoy that would be an issue to me. But other tend to worry a lot about these societal changes to leave a permanent imprint on human nature, a feminisation of men, the cause for plummeting birthrates, etc. - and I don't share these worries at all. If anything, what we see is a lot of cope and struggling from the woke side, when it becomes empirically apparent, that granting more liberties to women tends to emphasise their natural tendencies and has them gravitate to what is essential to femininity rather than bring forth a blank slate individual. As Leo Strauss put it: "One can expel nature with a pitchfork but it always returns". What ultimately shapes us is natural selection and no matter how much these feminist preach, the men they proclaim they want are ultimately not the men whose children they're giving birth to, because that part of the brain responsible for mate selection does not care about ideology or reasonable arguments.

>I think the secessionist sentiments are growing stronger.
I am sceptical of secessionist movements as well - not from a moral position of course, but one needs to consider that the world we live in is already a political network of states interlocked in conflict. Stability is maintained by mutual threat. If now these states were to fall apart due to secessionist conflicts, it would result in chaos and possibly leave the states falling apart vulnerable to their competitors ambitions. And where people hoped to find freedom they end up enslaved by foreign powers. I look at the 'living off the grid' sentiment, popular in some dissident circles similarly and see it as the manifestation of a dying civilisation. Spengler called this wish to become Switzerland ('Verschweizerung'), and I'm paraphrasing here, since I probably won't find the specific quote, the geriatric wish of a dying people for tranquil at any cost. To enter the retirement home of history, foolishly thinking to have escaped from the beatings it yet has to offer.

I should probably add here: by that I don't mean that these issues don't exist - they are absolutely relevant and severe societal problems; the birthrate issue in particular, but I don't consider them rooted in ideology but rather resulting from humans being maladaptive with regard to the conditions imposed by urbanisation and technological progress.
