The thing is I don't even know how much of this is driven by Cover. The fact is that unlike a lot of people, streamers don't work 5 days a week and have the weekend off. Not to mention that they almost certainly have to take precautions on when they call people into the offices or not for privacy concerns and then up until now because of coof. I'm not trying to defend Cover, but this just seems to be a problem that holos have in general. The fact that lots of them are idol-wannabes and see this as their best chance to do so doesn't help, clearly they want to spend the time and effort to do idol activities even if we would rather just have Twap stream to us.

i mean its pretty clear what's going on behind the scenes, its a mix of towa's shitty sleep schedule and probably nascent sleeping disorder are finally taking its toll on her, combined with whatever work/prep she's doing for her secret plans it's left her unable to really put much effort or time into planning streams or anything. I know the feeling, like when I used to host TRPGs, its hard to focus when every day you are being swamped by work and have no energy otherwise and so you end up just either trying to wing it or decide that no RPG is better than bad RPG. It's not lack of passion or depression-she's clearly in a good mood given the last few days-but she's definitely very tired, like we've been getting a few days of high tension low brain running on fumes towa, which is great content but just signifies that she needs some time off. Combined with the fact that she's clearly straining her voice doing something off-stream, and yet we know that when she's off-stream in a casual environment she usually is relatively quiet in conversations unless directly addressed. Most likely than not she's been doing a lot of work for upcoming lives, I wouldn't be surprised if she's been doing choreography for other holos too. There's a lot of lives coming up in the next couple of months, like Subaru's in the next few days and Peko's later this month (along with maybe Matsuri or Marine), then later next month there's gonna be a fucking torrent with Miko, Flare, the cursed triple day of Twap/Baqua/Noel, Haachama, then the gokisei debuts, and then Shion/Mio (although I doubt Towa will be with Shion given they haven't interacted). August has always been a notoriously full month after all.
