The few time Debidebi has broken character they have talked about how the voice they use for them puts a strain on them and is very hard to upkeep, so they can't stream as much as they want. Having a second character with an easier voice allievates this.

Salome is doing a longer stream this week though. Assuming that we consider >>26891409 her slipping to her natural voice, Salome is closer to that than any of the other voices Debi ever did and Debi does longer streams when she really needs to.
The real issue would be acting as two full time vtubers all the time.
