No, the way your voice sounds doesnt determine "gender". Personality, how you react to things, your emotions, the way you structure your sentences, everything about how you act does. Terumi is actually more "generically feminine" than Virgil in behavior. Obviously, just taking voice, Terumi does practically sound like a dude at points.

Using the traditionally understood definition. To simply explain, if I were to grab a heroine from a 1600s novel, they would more closely resemble terumi in how they'd act. It's not meant to be a slight on Virgil. I mean, it's possible that their each playing up certain traits they possess over others to give certain impression. Terumi does like rp, so maybe she's just acting more feminine, but her nature isn't quite like that by itself. I mean, Virgil obviously has a 'feminine switch' where she changes her voice, talks about a certain kind of topic in a certain way, and acts coy, shy and passive. Generally, she's boisterous, foul mouthed, passionate ect. These traits are more on the masculine side. I hope that makes things clearer. Terumi makes "daily intimacy" videos. Virgil, maybe once a week, brings up the whole boyfriend topic. I could maybe explain better, but it's 130am and I'm going to bedan.

The worst quality chatter quit and never returned after virgil called out his retardation, which was just an objective improvement for everyone. Also, I saw someone bring up a political topic which Virgil read aloud, since streamers can always just read whatever enters their view without vetting. She had to pull of some matrix dodge with zero warning.

Low quality chats do have consequences. They filter older people for one, which means less money, and they filter smart people for two, which means a lower quality community that it otherwise could be. Its also mentally draining for the streamer to have to filter out bad comments.

Yeah, except in this very thread there is someone literally saying they watch Virgil, but dont want to participate in chat. I've also introduced her to my friends, to no avail, again because of the chat. Just because the effects of something might be subtle, doesnt mean theres no effect.

My biggest worry is that the low quality of the chat could lower the quality of her content in the future.
She noticed people not recognizing the Kodomo no Jikan ending for example, if that happens often she may decide to sing stuff chat will recognize instead of stuff she actually likes or would have fun singing.
And the same could happen to the games she picks or the jokes she makes.
