See that's the thing, I read like 20+ chapters and I still don't get what it's "concept" is, other than the dude having some transdimensional link power or some shit. What exactly it's "about" has not been made clear at all, and 22 chapters is like 1/4th of a Book.

Read the PGtE blurb + short prologue and the first chapter, it has a lot of worldbuilding as well but it's done in such a natural way (as part of a bartending girl listening to a soldier's stories) that you get engrossed. And the premise of the blurb is set up and ready within that first chapter, and it just invites you naturally into following that journey

Back when I had time for such long-ass series, I wouldn't have had any trouble just binge reading entire Novels of 1000+ chapters, but nowadays it's just not worth the time. Especially when more compact and faster paced stories with similar levels of worldbuilding are widely available.
