I've never become an anti of a vtuber I used to like except Ame.
Ame's a lazy bitch who singlehandedly made me start watching NijiEN. I tuned into a Selen stream one day when Ame canceled her stream and the difference in appreciation for her fans and sincere enjoyment of the games she plays made me love her. It also forced me to realize how much resentment towards Ame I was burying deep down.

Otherwise if a vtuber just gets boring I just stop watching. It's very rare for a vtuber to be such a shitty person that it makes me hate them.

I started watching chubas with Nijisanji gamers, I loved the whole "anime girl plays videogames thing" and I spent a ton of time watching Nijisanji Gamers without knowing what Nijisanji really was, in fact when I found Fubuki I thought that she was a Nijisanji too.
I always watched chuubas of the two companies, in fact the day that Sasaki and Korone did a collab in a shitty doraemon game it was one of the happiest days of my life, my two oshis together! Then slowly Hololive started the "no man policy" and I was literally dragged in.
I never liked or watched males and I avoided most of the male/female collab, if I wanted to watch a male there are a ton of brotwichers/speedrunners that I could watch, not cringey anime larpers, so I started to watch mainly Hololive, but I still watched my Nijisanji favorites, to the day, if Sasaki or Shiina are streaming alone and Korone isn't streaming I watch them. Chigusa, Hayama, Rena, Ars and Nui will always be on my favorite tab
With all of that said, ENsharts here made me hate Nijifans with passion, even if I love a lot of their chuubas

I don't really anti my oshi actively, but sometimes I get really upset at how she conducts herself and I shitpost venomously about her behaviors, minus blurting out her name. I just wish I could have fun watching and fapping to her again without ever contemplating there was any chance we could actually be some manner of friends. I wish she had been a bit wiser in managing her boundaries.

I'd still jump on a figurative grenade for her, even though that's the sort of mentality she really doesn't want to deal with from viewers. And fuck me, I understand her completely nowadays.

When Myth first debuted, I think I was most filtered by Ame. I can't remember why or when I started enjoying her streams, but I would consider myself a die-hard teamate these days. Outside of anything EN related, just before the whole VTuber boom, I completely avoided live2d VTubers because part of the appeal for me was the expressiveness of the 3d model. That, and I generally disliked the idea of chuubas livestreaming and preferred the short-form, video content chuubas used to make. A few niji clips, then later holo clips eventually warmed me up to the idea of streamer vtubers; even if I still kinda miss the video format that used to be common.
