I hate her speaking voice. I warmed up to it but it filtered me so hard at the start that I missed months of her content and it's taking me forever to catch back up now that she's one of my favorites.

nah she just go fucked with her default voice. occasionally she does talk deeper and even higher voices depending on her mood tho. additionally her singing voice is something she had to develop hard, there was a stream where she played a cover from 2008 and her voice was terrible

I don't have the link or the stream, I don't know if there's a clip of it either. The short of it is that she learned to speak wrong (from the head/upper throat) and sing right (from the stomach), and it's far too late at her age to change that behaviour. She can make herself speak "right", high and deep, and sometimes does so for comedic effect on stream, but it takes constant conscious effort so it's not maintainable.
For the record, I fucking love her stupid nasal voice. She's almost incapable of making a sound I don't enjoy, really. She rarely laughs with all her heart, but when she does, it makes mine skip.
