I always wondered what it is about Holostars that basically acts like a massive debuff to male chuubas, the boys themselves are entertaining and it's not like they aren't fun to watch either.
Is it the fact their associated with being idols? or is it the lack of filling a certain niche? Gamma has been doing surprising well despite being the least subbed in Uproar with his drawing/talk streams. The JPchuuba sphere is also pretty familiar with Holostars now too so it's not like they have a bad rep or anything.

I think it has to do with the type of streamers holo tends to hire. Nijisanji hires people who are sociable and have good chemistry, while holo usually hires people who tend to be introverted and reserved.
I hope this doesn't sound too wierd, but females tend to gravitate to things that are more social, and thats why female viewers perfer to watch Nijimen than Stars. Nijisanji has a lot of male streamers that extroverted and they do tons of collabs.

Yeah, Roberu is the most extroverted in holostars and he's funny, and that's why I he's more successful and has higher ccv than any other star member. Not everyone in holo is introverted, but most holo streamers (both male and female in every branch)feel less sociable than streamers in Nijisanji.

Hololive members don't need to be super extroverted because there's a big cross-pollination between the members, and they all at one point collab with their senpai or kouhai and end up getting a boost from it. If they keep it or not it's up to their qualities as a streams, and being introverted or extroverted doesn't influence this as much because you content can be good even if you're a social sperg. This is something that definitely doesn't happen with the Stars because they pretty much share the same audience save for Roberu, so the people who watch the Survival Corps streams are already Holostars fans, while he get more outsiders or people who don't care about the other Stars on his solo and outside collabs.
