Even Zentreya has over 4k subscribers, that's 10k/month from subscriptions alone at base rate and there's no way the Vshojos are getting base rate if even small speedrunners with 1k viewers get better rates than 50/50 on twitch. Then you have to add bits and donations to that. Vshojo doesn't take a cut from stream earnings while Cover does. The Vshojos are making a lot of money.

If holoEN is to succeed here they'll need to find a better balance between giving their talents freedom and protecting their company's integrity, other than that they show significant promise. Likewise Vshojo has a lot of promise. This is thanks to their decentralized approach, but they are still very new to the scene and may struggle to retain this company model once they grow outside of their immediate friend group.

I think this may be just another bait thread made by a tribalfag looking to get his opinion validated. Personally as someone who watches Vshojo I don't endorse tribalfagging, numberfagging, or anything like that. How big the community is doesn't matter to me as long as the community is a comfy one. With that said, we already have some comfy threads that the antis mostly ignore which leads to a less active community with a higher quality of discussion which I'm completely fine with. I just want to enjoy my waifus in peace and I hope that everyone else; fans of hololive, nijisanji, and of the thousands of indies out there, can enjoy discussions of their waifus in peace too.

HoloEN will keep stagnating as long as they can't collab/minecraft/etc with the rest of hololive more freely, or holoEN2 debuts and breathes new life into it.

VShojo has new additions, japanese interest, important collabs... they'll eventually plateau, but now they are in the middle of a big incline.
