I'm not sure, anon. I just tuned in this morning to see her graduating. From some of the stuff she's said on stream and a community post a few weeks old, I think she might want to go traveling for a while? I don't know. Maybe she said it in the beginning of the stream and I wasn't there at the time. It really did feel like she was sad to go, so it must be important

It hurts. She wasn't my oshi, but Melissa was one of the livers who first got me into Nijisanji and she was always one of my favorites. I've always loved to listen to her sing. I know she'll be happier working on her own and I'll keep supporting her, but it hurts to see her leave "Melissa" behind.

I get what you mean. I didn't always watch her, but it definitely hurt to see her go. She's definitely an underrated singer as well. It'll never be the same, but at least we got to be here when she was still there. I'll also keep supporting her (granted I can find out who her roommate is), and I'm currently archiving her things, but I don't know when nijisanji will erase them. I hope I'll have time.

I'm not sure if anyone has archived her channel yet. I am currently in the process of doing so as I said, and I'm not close to done. Are you only interested in the covers? They should be easy to download. Shouldn't take you too long.
Toko is cool as well. Have you also tried watching yuuhi riri, Mashiro and Lize among others? None will replace meli, but maybe you'll like them and they'll be favorites of yours along with toko

I got really interested in her a couple of months ago. Kinda glad I didn't get too invested. Her other account is doing pretty well though so I understand she felt she could leave without much risk. I just wish she wasn't going to nuke everything

Nuking everything might be a contract decision and not a personal one. They don't always get the choice. Sometimes, the archives stay up for a long time before being removed (with lulu, it was 6 months) so you have time to watch her, anon. Do you have some examples? For whatever reason I recall from the Otogibara graduation that the archives staying up for only three weeks was something to do with negotiations with nijisanji. I only know of shin yuya (niji kr) being a retired niji member with full archives still up.

yuya, chiho, siu, kasumi, possibly some others i'm forgetting. also, of the ones that wiped their channels, quite a few of them still left certain things up, typically covers or edited videos.
