Areas of support and resistance can tell when to enter a trade and when to exit it. You can look at Bitcoin. For the most part it has had trouble breaking 60k so in the past once it reached that price you would short it. It also had trouble going lower than 55k so at that point you would buy it.

Look up the past closing prices for a given asset or security. It helps if you understand candle stick charts because they show you things like opening price, closing price, and price rejection.

What you want to look for is where was the price last rejected and how many times? Check the past week on the chart and try to notice what happens anytime there's red. How far down does the red go? Does it stop at a certain point very often, say around 55k for bitcoin? That's a level of resistance then and probably a good place to buy because that means buyers are willing to swoop in at that price and drive it upwards. Very low risk of the price dumping further than that.

Also remember the people in the market who know what they're doing are likely all looking at the same indicators and buying/selling around the same time. Don't try to get fancy and time the market, just try to join in on what everyone else is doing.

To be fair the stock market is an absolute clown fest thanks to Biden bucks, infinite money printers, and no real news/catalysts/Trump tweets.

Still it's worth it to learn candlestick charts simply for the fact that you can see price rejection which tells you one side, either buyers or sellers, don't agree with the direction a stock/option/contract/coin is going and might trigger a reversal. It's those reversals where real money is gained in day trading and preserved in swing trading. Price rejection is the skinny part of the candle and if it points up that means sellers don't want the price to go up any higher and may drive it down, if it points down that means buyers are swooping in buy cheapies.

Maybe one thing that might help is that these patterns, TA, and charts are best done on blue chip stocks like Apple, Alibaba, Nvidia, and the like. They won't help you on bullshit penny stocks.

Yes and no. So at the moment there is no benefit and if you want to take profit take it. Down the road however the people who have been hoarding coins and building larger positions will start to win out because they will hold a large enough percentage of coins to mitigate or out right eliminate devaluation of dividends which will be caused by increased circulation. The increased circulation won't stop and will increase each week as dividends are used to buy more coins.

What the people selling after every dividend are ignoring is that prices will continue to rise as the value and demand for better performing coins increases.

This is why I have a feeling those anon hoarding their oshis are basically in the early phases of building actual cash machines and those who have over diversified are going to lose out as they have to sell and buy positions they could have bought at much more favorable rates.

The problem with swing trading right now is the 15 minute cooldown per coin. This pretty much equalizes most of the players above a certain amount of money. If you have a lot of money you have to start making less riskier trades since you will be holding on to them for longer.

As I said in my post right now it doesn't matter the market is too new and volume is too low. The issue is you might sell off of a position and when you go to buy back in you can't buy as many coins as when you sold despite having more money. AGAIN right now it is not a big deal because you can easily find undervalued chuubas but down the road as the market catches up this won't be the case and if you are buying less coins at a decreasing dividend value you are making less money.
