I don't remember who, but I know it was a holo. I left /jp/ years and years ago for /a/ and a friend of mine asked if I was into vtubers. I was big into Golshi's channel at the time and I'd seen some Kizuna Ai and HimeHina videos, but before then I hadn't watched any actual vtuber streams live. I returned to /jp/ to look into it and wound up in /hlg/.

I think at around March 2020 I started working remotely and spent way more time browsing internet, including Danboroo. More and more vtuber fanart was being uploaded every day, I kept my eyes on it. Was seeing some clips at the time to go along it. At around June I saw this picture of Luna, decided to check out the channel directly, she seemed cute. Her genmate, Coco was having a 3d debut at around the same time. I watched it live. Started following gen4 then, discovered whole world of vtubers since.

I got interested in Hololive from miko saying the N word on twitter. On some account like "Anime girls speaking english" or some shit. The next day Matsuri bandaids was in my youtube recommended. binged a bunch of clips. then heard Akai Haato spoke english, looked at her channel and she was live on Minecraft. She was shifting on a ledge building something so I just typed "Fall". Chat was so slow and she saw my comment.
