Since you asked. I liked the narration because it has good 'flow' and reads well as it moves through the scenes while having the narrator be good at coloring the scene.
While I wasn't the one that pointed out the dialogue, rereading the fic I can kind of see their why they pointed it out. It's kind of average, and while it's not exactly bad, it doesn't have enough to distinguish itself; basically it works for what it needs to do but could be better. If there's a place to make it up in, then the next chapter would probably be it, since you'll be 'hard' introducing the main cast of characters that the protagonist will interact with in future.

Ehhh... is that meant to imply netorase doesn't? It's a very intimate and personal thing for me, in much the same manner as you're describing.

Of course, there's a brand of folk that are primarily into humiliation/sadomasochism and just use NTR as a medium for getting that, but that's not particularly for me. There's gotta be genuine affection between the guy and the girl before anything degenerate starts happening, and bitchy attitudes are generally a turnoff. That's one way you can take it, and I'd be lying if I said that kind of scenario didn't do it for me at all (it's unfortunately about as common as my preferred scenario as far as netorase goes). But I find narratives where the relationship stays intact to be more ripe for degenerate opportunity personally. I guess I consider a girl willingly cheating on her partner for his sexual gratification lower on the degeneracy pole than merely leaving him, because adultery as a result of a lack of love is more emotionally heavy/likely to naturally occur than something like this, which requires a huge amount of trust. And I guess more to the point, at that stage, it stops being about (Me), and so I lose interest.

There are plenty of extreme directions to take this aside from breaking up if one's in the mood for them, like chastity cage play, sex denial, foreign pregnancy, etc.. In a nutshell, (You) are a former agricultural aircraft pilot who signs up to join Cover Squadron, a mercenary group similar to Sicario from Project Wingman. The prologue chapter is you going on the test flight to determine whether or not your application will be accepted, doing basic flight maneuvers and target practice in a flight element led by Fubuki. You pass the test, get accepted and given a callsign, and bond with your new flight group consisting of Fubuki, Mio and Ayame back at the mess hall. Then a news broadcast shows up on the TV that not-China has invaded not-Taiwan (this was before the whole Ukraine thing) and Ayame guesses that you all just found your next big contract.
Not much was planned after that, other than a vague outline of a chapter called 'Scylla and Charybdis' where your squadron is attacked at sea by two superweapons, one a giant submarine and the other a flying fortress, the two of them covering each other. But you notice that the two won't fire in the space between them to avoid friendly fire and you lead Fubuki to exploit that 'blind spot' to destroy their weapon systems so the squadron can take them out.
Also Nijisanji shows up periodically as a rival mercenary group working for the other side. And when flying two-seater planes you're paired up with a WSO with the callsign 'Lurker' who never talks and communicates entirely nonverbally. Everyone thinks he's kind of weird, but he's good at his job so they just let him do him.

For how it's used here it's probably the best pov to use for the stories that are generally told here.
There are limits and weaknesses to it of course but the 'cheapness' of 2nd person is to the benefit for the kind of fics that usually come out here. Because (You) don't require much in the way of setup and thing happening to you have greater effect if that cheap connection does actually connect. Which means the lion's share of the story can go to the vtuber while still keeping it so that emotional stuff happening to you still has impact.
Technically nameless first person also accomplishes the same effect, but the general effect of having it be 'anon' sets up a decent baseline expectation for the character while dodging the difficulties of literally having no name.

NTA but for narrative reasons, having a third person perspective is much more freeing than a second person one. You could write more than just the reader's view and thoughts without having it be a jarring transition. You can do things such as write scenes where the main character isn't present or is unconscious, and you can also, for the case of the often used self-inserts of this thread, develop a more complex character that isn't just (You) blank.

I would agree in the case that 3rd person POV works well for named characters, but 2nd person so far worked well for me when I want to feel more personalized to the character I'm writing. But that could also be my bias speaking since I'm more comfortable writing in 2nd person than 3rd person.
