/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

Hear me out on this...
With the recent hyper pop fad of 2021-2020, I think it would only be appropriate if vtubers adopted the genera. AND I think it would fit the anime aesthetic also.

BIG ISSUE, for me rn is that all vtuber music sounds the damn same as any other jpop. We need new flavors, I think black metal, hyper pop, plugnb (kinda like summrs), surge. Ambient vocalist(malibuu, grouper).

I wanna hear some real vtuber pop.

I think a big way for the vtubers to stop being so damn corny, they need to find their own Aesthetics.
where are the super shy vtuber that only listens to breakcore?
where is the vtuber who bumps Taylor swift in private while saying slurs to his white friends in the football locker room. (white ofc).

We as a community need to stop giving these copy and paste girls all this attention and start valuing streamers with more dedication to creating unique experiences for viewers.
These are real people who feel misrepresented.

I think some new generas, aesthetics. just ways going about this whole vtuber stuff needs to change. The new Hololive-ID girls made me realize this. It's all kawaii-bait, horny-bait, and gamer/lonely-bait.
Is there not something else we can do than magical girls who got all these powers but only play video games like some real looser shit?

My solution I think would be having the character's quirks and powers and whatever as the main thing, the game should only be a vessel for the stream to tell its story and the story should always flesh out the characters.
More a minor issue but why are the outfits always so damn ugly. What the hell are these people wearing? it's either some dumbass anime outfit with like a million parts and showing the whole tit or it's like the weirdest take on what's "cool". It all feels so disconnected from reality. (SEE IMAGE, LIKE DAMN WHAT IS THIS???)
