Many of Hololive's hiring choices have been really really bad.
Several of them are bad, and many of them are just average at best.

That's why when people say that hololive only hires the best, or that hololive vtubers outclass everyone else, I can only shake my head. It's just completely wrong. Actually you'll find people much better at other companies.

Millie's ASMR is better than Fauna's.
Pomu is like a better version Kiara, that's actually watchable.
Sara Nagare is like Sana, but better in every way, including a better design.

I tried watching a Rosemi stream for the first time in a month or so yesterday and this is unironically what it was. I only ever watched a Selen stream once and was hard filtered by her laugh, but I had to hear it again along with a dozen men literally screaming while playing gmod. I decided I'd rather play an actual game myself rather than put up with that.
