I'm excited to see who will get to control The Dome and Bloodhound Trials. Pakael has made it clear that he intends to run straight there after looting his place and Astel doesn't really like the idea of facing him so early. Astel might just head straight to Lava Siphon but Reid also said that his team will also be looting that place once Meshers leave it so he's stuck in quite an unfavorable spot.
As for Bloodhound Trials usually the team that controls Skyhook West take it, but with the rule of no looting other spots until you've at least landed within your designated landmark landing directly on Trials is out of the question. Might be interesting if both teams send their strongest member (Kuzuha/Axia) alone to try and control it.

Shitpost aside, Als team has Hayun, who is master and performed pretty well in past customs. In fact, they wiped out Towa's team multiple times in matsuri's custom.
Chihiro's team mostly relies on Chihiro and putii, hard to predict their performance as they still haven't attended a custom in full party.

How is the point ladder in this tourney? Do they get points by kills like in most tornaments? I've never watched VSaikyou before.

From the official website. In the previous vsaikyo tournaments, there was a limit on how many kill points in the first matches. The limit was decreased in each match (6 kill points max in the first match, 7 in the second, and no limit in the final match IIRC)

Aqua's play style is quite aggressive. Although her skill is pretty good, arguebly one of the best in the entire tournement, and been able to 1v2 or even 1v3 in right conditions, she would just rush into battle and then die in crossfire sometimes, lefting Towa and Suisei be looted by other team.

It's not shitty per se, it has a bunch of high tier loots, just that doing rotation from that spot if the ring ends up in the south area is a mess. Also Startend has been dropping there since their first custom lobby matches, other teams will automatically assume that it will be drafted as the first choice so no real reason to also draft it as theirs and risk lottery.

The kill point caps only started in S3 to prevent teams from winning solely off of kill points. Vsaikyou S2, despite implementing the rank point system to balance the teams, still had crazy kill point scores from both the two champion teams and the scrim favorite, Big Star, who cleared practically a third of the lobby in round 1. The rule change followed parallel developments in other tournaments like the CR cup, where the pattern of some teams (mostly Ras) cheesing the tournaments with kills made trying to earn champions feel pointless.

geyser is fine, there's more rotation options in geyser, including a geyser that gives super easy access to the high ground you were concerned about, than the vast majority of other landmarks.
