2018-2019: Fubuki/Matsuri for early interest, then Aqua hard-carried Cover in Japan and especially China. I don't think Azur Lane collab would have happened without her
Late 2019 - 2020: Noel was probably the most famous hire Cover made at that point, then Marine took over. Pekora/Miko contributed a lot as well. On the EOP side, the introduction of Coco and especially Asacoco, coupled with the lockdown, started to generate interest from the West. Korone and Pekora from February until July basically caused Hololive to overtake Youtube's algorithm, and HoloEN debut in October sealed the deal.

At this point the company is too large to be carried by one person. You could say that some Holo have more pull than others via seniority or popularity like Sora, Fubuki, Suisei, Pekora, Gura, and Mori.

Towa. She's been the one organizing a bunch of collabs since late November (MarioKart, Splatoon). Her participating in Vsaikyou with a Hololive team brought more attention to Hololive as well. it really depends on the reason why they're graduating. i remember seeing once a tierlist where Rushia graduating would cause mass suicides, but it never happened because it was framed to be her own fault. at this point though, Cover's too big to fail, so even if Pekora, Gura, Calli, or Marine graduates the next day. it won't cause the final yab regardless of their reason. the only way Cover can fall at this point is if they committed a yab itself, like tax fraud, or yagoo being caught in a crime.
