No. I know you're going to say the internet facilitates communication with your object of desire and that she "provides" for you in terms of content, but no, you have to be mentally ill to think you can replace an actual romantic relationship with a person that sometimes reads your comments and superchats, and offers a service you enjoy. I've been watching enough Hololive for almost 2 years and I can assure you every single one (at least of JP) exploits the fans for money with endless merch and sponsor. Hell, even 3/4 of the Holo expo was exactly that and you could the infinite queue to buy more shitty merch of people that already have a full room of them.
The difference is that "anti-gachikois can convince their fans to do whatever the fuck they want (like Ayame) while pro-gachikois ones usually feel compelled to give back to them somehow.

I find it funny that people like to put gachikoi and idol fans in the same basket when they are not the same thing and can and will have interests that will conflict with each other.

A good example is gift subs. If you are a fan of your oshi as a idol you want her to have the biggest reach possible and become as successful and loved as possible and gift subs are only one of many available tools to achieve it, 'muh comfy member streams' are not an acceptable excuse to hinder your idol growth in any way.

However, if you are a gachikoi, you are against it by default, the fewer obstacles between you and your loved one, the better, she's already successful enough.

The true backbone of their income comes from sponsorships, merch sales, and the small recurring membership fee on their channels. For most members, their monthly superchat average is probably barely more than their passive youtube ad revenue (which is also already a lot of money) or maybe even less after youtube takes their cut. If these people were more ethical, they would do what other big streamers do: set a hard cap on donation amounts or disable them entirely. But you're never gonna see a Holo take this stand explicitly, because it'll make the cynical, exploitative ones look bad.

I want to explain this to you via blogpost. I hate other people, especially if they're women. I live alone, I don't have any friends, I never go out except for essential activities like work and grocery shopping, I even transferred to a lower-paying position because it minimizes the contact I'm forced to have with other people. And I did all of this voluntarily. I don't even have online friends, despite the fact I post constantly, and whenever someone tries to make friends with me I simply ignore them until they go away. It's not social anxiety or another mental illness, this is simply who I am. I've had friends, even close friends, even girlfriends, and I've successfully pushed them out of my life because I don't enjoy it. Luckily most of my family is dead and the few who are still alive stopped calling. However, I'm still human, I still have a need for romantic fulfilment, and being in a parasocial relationship with an anime girl is literally the best possible option for my situation. There is zero chance that I, let alone my hypothetical partner, would ever be happy in a real-life relationship, but if it's online all those problems disappear. I don't actually have to be burdened by responsibilities of a real relationship, and me being myself will not be distressing for the other person. And the best thing is that it actually works, especially if I gachi hard. Before I realized I could do this I'd often feel soul-crushing loneliness (which was only made worse by being reminded what people are actually like through social interaction), but that's evaporated, and I've started to experience emotions I didn't even realize I was capable of. It's genuinely been a wonderful experience that has, if anything, improved my mental health.
I will live by your normalfag rules when I'm at work, when I'm driving, at the store, etc., but when I'm home all bets are off. There is nothing you could ever do that would stop me from doing this, and nothing you could possibly say that would make me change my mind.
