The clip wasn't taken out of context. Connor wasn't wrong but it was a horrible idea to use Hololive as an example. The only reason he used them for the example was to be edgy and bait people but he ended up getting more hate than he thought.

Even then, most of the people who post about it or Calli hate are shitposters who don't care. The problem was that Calli gave those shitposters attention and other underlying problems with Calli that has been stacking up on top of each other.

But the Twitter/Hololive Reddit/YT Drama channels decided to make it about "fans" hating men interaction because that is easier to virtue signal from.

Joke's on you my oshi already collabed with men before she was a holo and I couldn't give a shit. Trouble is this: Every collab is less audience interaction because the streamers have to engage with eachother instead of chat. I like the occasional collab because I can safely listen to the stream and do other shit, but I'm not a fan of constant collabs.
