It's definitely a feeling, similar to having a waifu. but it's also a conscious decision to make that vtuber your oshi. You can hvae the feeling but it's also possible for you to decide for one reason or another that the vtuber can't be your oshi or can. It's a mix of both.

The last time I wavered was during Christmas karaoke relay.
That was the first moment I've ever been genuinely pissed off at her and just seethed like never before.

i liked ina before. chill stream that i can actually watch, all other vjtubers i watch only the clips. tried to watch gura stream and i was surprised that there is no skip 5 second button. hype is artificially made and people expect to feel the "lets fucking gooooo" feeling, which i hate. i dont experience that from ina before that's why i could watch her. specially the drawing training arc. people could actually try doing what she was doing and it's good to be inspired and motivated to draw. i like those aspects of ina stream before.

why i dont watch ina now. well, i watched this clip were she was saying "i dont need good grades to reach where i am now" - i hate this statement. it's a very dangerous idea. it implies that basic schooling is useless and you can skip it and be irresponsible and you will succeed anyway. basic schooling is very important. otherwise the "normal" people will be just dumb, irresponsible and dont know basic things.
also it's like a bad color of confidence in ina. i know she is good and smart even. still though, i hate that she undermines effort with that statement.

I remember Ina saying the reason she dropped BotW for Elden Ring is because they were both similar open world games and she was worried about forgetting the muscle memory of Elden ring by playing BotW which would make it much harder to get back into compared to an easier game like Botw where she can just pick it back up whenever and be decent at it.
