>always hear about how Japan's work culture is retarded as fuck, your supposed to overwork yourself every day otherwise you're a leech to society
>meanwhile cover only "requires" two streams a week, which we've seen they don't even bother enforcing
Is it just from Yagoo being a chill ceo?

>> No.19406576

*three streams per week

Yamers streamed 166 hours in 2021 and 3 hours a week for 52 weeks is 156 hours, so she technically average over the 3 1-hour streams a week requirement despite being gone for 2 months straight. This bitch's hourly pay is actually off the charts considering how little she works

Making a more-than-decent living off of a job that's an average of 3 hours per week is insane
Is there any other industry that's even close to that?

>always hear about how Japan's work culture is retarded as fuck, your supposed to overwork yourself every day otherwise you're a leech to society
>anon is constantly screaming how cover is a black company (black companies, of course, are highlighted by overworking their employees constantly and making sure it's a problem to try to quit, and your job security is purely the knowledge that if you do quit or get fired you'll be facing an uphill battle getting another job
>but every time anyone isn't on-air for a while anon starts screeching about how they're lazy and management should force them to work more or fire them
>and the people who've quit or been fired have all moved on and found new work, even if it's being self employed
the moral of the story is that anon is a retard.
>>19409326
and yet you faggots howl and rage angrily about how it's not being treated like one every single time anyone so much as takes a day off, much less streams infrequently.

I mean, isn't it okay though? Like, there aren't massive labor costs to this business that cover eats by having Ayames and Sanas around, right? The talents basically have their own setups paid for by themselves and there isn't any fixed business hours, no commute to an workplace with its own upkeep, Cover basically only needs one big office for corporate and then they budget out of the various revenue streams for big promotional events.

If a donut shop doesn't have someone on call for Tuesday morning, they lose out on revenue for that day but vtubers can always sell streams so they can't really lose a day or go in the red unless they fuckup something serious. That's why small as fuck vtuber companies can get by even when their top talents only get 400 CCV. The operating costs are just super low.

ayame (and all gen2) actually the original streaming monsters. hololive becoming idol company stopped gen2 streaming streak, since they have to do idol reps. idol activities make some get better (aqua, subaru) some get burned (shion, ayame) and choco.
