While tastes exist, superior singers do exist. I dont know many people that would say Justin Timberlake was a better singer than Bruno Mars for example. Both are good singers but one is clearly better. You could say the same about Adele and Taylor Swift.

Gura is at best an amateur singer, people like her because of her "unique" sound, but only get fans like this "unique" sound. the rest of us are very frustrated with how safe she plays even her unarchived karaokes. it gets incredibly boring when you sing the same songs and dont take risks in said songs. at every point she should belt, go on a run, shift to head voice or falsetto etc she just stays in chest voice, and when she should be adding air a volume or even scream, she just goes falsetto. Like it sounds good the first time to make a song R&B and lofi, but it got old 2 months in, she needs to diversify take risks and maybe get some lessons.

if you cant tell, i really dislike the girls that never take risks in karaoke, this isnt a record, this is karaoke, we dont want to hear the same rendition every stream, we want to see improvement and improvisation.

I dont really care, i just think its a waste of potential, on her debut i was excited with how much of a beast she could be just looking at her progress from her previous life, unfortunately she became complacent not only in her singing but also her streaming, content to mediocrity

to add on, i am sure i am not alone in thinking this, theres a reason she jumped to highest subscribed vtuber and was pulling in 30-40k a stream first few months when she had a nice schedule and drive to stream, along with every karaoke shed top the last one. She just lost her fire.
Enna still hasnt lost that first, i hope she doesnt become like Gura, but Enna seems like a pro and disciplined so probably not.

Compare Enna's prerecorded songs to her screaming barmaid competition and you will see the difference. Sure, it might be the niji events screwing her over for time, but she needs to ask them for money for better production too if they want her to shill whatever gen comes after her. The problem is Niji doesn't like investing money for songs. She has to do it from her own pocket and picking friends to do it for cheap was not a good idea.

A don't think a cover where she adds her own production values (ie. sings and mixes her own harmonies) is a fair comparison to people who sing just karaoke. There are a lot of well-known, popular singers who are absolutely shit without being in a studio.

But I'm not saying this makes Enna shit. (Though I tend to agree that Gura and Mumei, at least, are overhyped and have limited range. Though I just don't care for the type of singing they mostly do.) Just saying a produced song can't be compared to karaoke.
