A decent meal 3 times a day doesn't cost a fortune as well as most basic necessities, and one can afford to buy some 'toys' and small luxuries by saving. That doesn't require a lot of work. I just assume when anyone gives financial advise in response to someones romantic plea it is about earning money and peacocking for external validation which by definition makes you a beta simp.
