A bit over a day ago I posted a comparison between Gura’s recent DBD vod and Aqua’s return MC vod. That itself is unrelated to what I’m gonna get at, but I recall when the vods themselves were being examined and at the time, the DBD vod was sitting at 312k after 12hrs of being up.
Fast forward to now, and we have this. The vod itself has gained 50k views in I guess around 40 hours ish? Which is really fucking impressive. That’s 1/6 of the vods total views gained in just a small portion of time. Not only that, her asmr vod is still gaining views steadily as it’s hit 400k. It's a different approach, and there's nothing wrong with streaming less if there are other obligations on the table like there are for many HoloJP members.
Before you drag EN into this mess, EN is in a very different market from JP, regardless of the reasons why some of them aren't streaming at the moment. I could write up a whole 'nother post about their issues, but that's not what I'm talking about.
You have extreme outliers like Ayame (who no one should try and emulate because that's a recipe for disaster for most people), and then you have the current Koyori, who like the rest of Holox is likely not doing any significant amount of idolrep stuff for HoloFes right now. As long as she doesn't end up doing long-term damage to herself, then she should continue doing what works for her.
