I’ve seen a lot of people express how it’s weird to have a kudoboard for valentine’s day and having it sent out to other chuubas.probably would have been better as a marshmallow with anonymous well wishes.Having chuubas submit messages for a valentines kudoboard is very awkward(they don’t know if it’s too personal or offensive to fans) and I hope the anon didn’t send it to too many chuubas

So I guess we've given up on spoilering kudoboard discussions? I said pretty early on that it felt it was a bit odd to do a board for valentines day, and I felt it was a bit forward to approach chuuba's to approach people about it. There's lots of people who've posted on the board that I never really see in the streams, and don't seem to interact with Nade on twitter either. Yeah I felt kind of weird about it at first, but I posted something once it started becoming active.

I'm the one person who voted against moving it from midnight to the start of the Valentine's stream. It's one thing to receive praise just before the end of the stream, which she can read at her leisure. It's another if she had a scenario stream planned for Valentine's day, then it got derailed because she had to stop and read everything, then afterwards she was too thrown off her game to do the scenario properly. And then there's always a chance that she doesn't stream on that day at all.

The choice of Valentine's was a reaction to the discussion around Christmas and New Year's streams. There was some talk of it being impractical to send gift donations around the holidays so I put the idea to the thread whether anyone would want to do a board in order to share sentiment without the monetary requirement. I agree that Valentine's is a less significant holiday but it does get brought up on stream from time to time so I chose to propose that date for that reason, as well as it's proximity.
