(Just following the topic about Kanatan’s height from last thread)

When Kson showed the massage chairs pictures from their last trip and talked about it I clearly remember that she mentioned Kanatan could use the chairs without any extra adjustment aside from the one the machine does automatically, while Kson was so short(?) that the machine failed to adapt to her height and kept punching and gripping her neck instead of her upper back. Kanata has also described Aqua as being small at least once unless I’m remembering something wrong, and we have many people from her past life who used to call her cool and ikemen, I’m sure you can be one even if you’re really short, but I actually believe Kanata is a bit taller than Kson irl, and quite thin of course seeing that she weighs less than 54kg. Anyway, she’s probably still shorter than most people here (aside from me maybe, I’m a 157cm manlet..)

The right one is Kanatan’s and the left one is Kson’s. I know the chair is a bit reclined backwards but it definitely looks like the one Kanatan used was automatically set up for a taller person (those super expensive chairs are supposedly fully automatic).

If memory serves me right, Cover had taken down his subbed Kanata's 3D debut upload (the whole stream in full) but he was given the opportunity to basically have his subs on the stream itself on Kanata's channel instead of his reupload. But he just took it down and I think wanted to cut it into segments to reupload little by little, maybe to avoid further takedowns by Cover. Dunno what happened to that but in the end nobody got anything out of it.

I can sort of understand the sample rate if she's doing just a casual recording but these days even budget home studios can afford to record at 96 or 192K. I'm not sure about the latency because no way she's comfortable working with that much delay (it should be like ten times lower) so maybe it's not input latency, different DAWs may display it differently. But then again she had problems with delay this stream so maybe it is. Her PC can definitely handle pro quality recording and her level of streamlining it is definitely above beginner by this point. Or maybe I'm biased because EQing is the most fun part for me too.

I think it depends. For the song in the #short I like the 'before' more. But on the other hand I always felt she did the forceful 'leaning' too much in songs where it doesn't fit which made it seem 'tryhard' -for lack of a better word- to me. Sorry, it was books by comedians, not about comedians. I don't think it's a bad thing, just inefficient and off the mark for the kind of content they make. As her solo streams show, it's not as if Kanata's problem is a lack of ideas to talk about or a lack of skill in manzai routines. She'd probably benefit much more doing improv acting lessons or something like that to teach her to act more spontaneously instead of always second guessing herself and giving way for others to talk.

Thanks, I missed a lot since the stream was early today. Well, there's not really a lot you can "study" for collabs, it's all practice. But if Kanata is taking it that seriously she might as well learn anywhere she can, she's right that comedians have good talking routines and it can be beneficial to learn common conversation pathways that way, as a sort of safety net. Especially for someone like Kanata who's prone to parroting. Of course the hardest part is actually practicing those methods but it's better than having nothing but a weather conversation deck to fall onto if things get rough. The important part is that she's willing to overcome that insecurity.

Come to think of it Kanatowa is really the only thing that remains now. Kanacoco and Watacoco were both very strong bonds and Towa too was pretty close to Coco off stream so they didn't use to come off as this scattered when they were still five.

Yeah, even KanaTowa is hard to really call collab partners since all of their more recent collabs have been to promote something (Madoromi, 4th gen anniv) or the 3D VR horror which was a punishment from chat.

I know of some changes made in the English version. There's some hand drawn animation replaced with shitty CG for some reason in a few scenes, so you might get out of sync if you watch the English version, not sure about though.
