Just shows you know nothing about animation. I’m an animator myself and can tell her MV is nicely done, it must’ve cost quite a lot to make too, considering how many people were involved (7 animators). The character(s) don’t go off model at any moment so the genga was definitely well checked before clean up, it has enough douga to look nice and smooth, if something I might’ve put a bit more contrast and changed a few hues during compositing but that blueish/lighter look might’ve been something Kanatan or whoever directed the MV wanted. Can’t find anything wrong with anything related to perspective/off model characters/lack of douga/bad clean up so I can assure you this was nicely and quite professionally done. I estimate it to have been definitely over 1m¥, something like this can cost all the way from around 1m-5m¥ depending on the studio/people working on it. I count fast and it came to around 26 individual animated + still cuts, that makes it around 150k just for genga, adding story boarding, douga, shiage (painting), backgrounds and compositing we’re definitely looking at around 1m¥ or more, even if they’re just freelancers doing the work instead of a studio.
Now imagine how much HoloAlt must’ve cost (they hired pretty well known/famous animators for that) and it’s longer+a lot more detailed. You can’t expect Kanatan to pay over 5m¥ for an MV.
That said Kanatan’s MV is great, well animated and it’s very personal which is an important part to it, unlike Marine’s or Watame’s animated MVs which are pretty much just your usual MV. They’re good too but the one I’ve liked the most of the three is definitely Kanatan’s.
