Why has Okayu's voice gotten so high pitched? Havent been watching hololive girls for a while so this caught me off guard. That calm soothing voice of hers was one of her main selling points for me, now I cant fall asleep listening to her over the top forced cutesy anime screech. It's normal for members to change their voice once their more comfortable but this seems so out of the blue and contradictory to her whole appeal in the first place. Is this a decision from management?

When you work with your voice is more comfortable to talk 1 pitch above your normal.
It also covers better your feelings, intonation and intentions.

I think I know what you mean. My sister does this subconsciously whenever she meets anyone for the first time, it's noticeably softer than her usual voice. Maybe that's part of the reason she can get others to like her so easily. I wonder if it works for both genders. Something tells me it's more effective for females though.
