My omocat KFP hoodie came in today and I'm very pleased with it. I have a fairly nice Fruit of the Loom hoodie and the quality is about comparable, with a soft interior lining that makes it comfier and warmer. I'm a small and it's a great fit, but I should note that anyone who's borderline on their size and hasn't yet ordered from Omocat had best go a size up since the fabric doesn't have a lot of give. Conversely that also makes it a cozier fit, which is very nice provided you've got the right size. Overall it's a great piece of relatively subtle merch that I will be happy to wear in public and covertly advertise my perfectly perfect oshi Takanashi Kiara!

Amazing. She's gotten 3d and she was so excited to dance and sing for us on the virtual idol stage. She's taken a single, month long trip to Japan. No issues from the ski trip, but she reveals something pretty embarrassing and it'll make you laugh. One of the other vacations is a 3 day, and the other is a full week. I agree that she had her flaws, but one if the things people most complain about her, that she's too loud and talkative in collabs, never really bothered me. She'd throw a question, joke or comment at her genmates, something that'd be extremely easy to bounce off of, and they'd just react with complete silence. It gave me a much worse impression of them than it did of her. Takodachis are absolutely the best possible mascots. It works so well because that's the only mascot that is both the channel icon (for merch and stuff) AND the audience. Out of the 5 icons that Ina drew for Myth only hers is representing the audience.

AO-chan (the "Ancient Ones") was kind of her sidekick character early on. It was some kind of personified floating book, a tome (think Necronomicon, etc.), what with her character lore setting about being a priestess to lovecraftian gods or sumshit. He was even an actual Live2D asset on her first model she could pull out. I hestitate to call him "mascot", because he wasn't really all that cute and didn't offer much fanart versatility (a fucking book, for chrissakes), and she rather settled on the much better Takodachi as her all-purpose mascot + audience stand in.

Now, if you didn't know all this already, sit down, because it's gonna get even weirder. This AO-chan was also Ina's actual chat moderator back in the early days. Yes, there was a real faggot behind this, he got his own official account and publicly modded Ina's chat for the first few months. Making snide remarks and sassily scolding the chat audience and occasionally commentating on what Ina said and having little conversations with her on stream. Weird, right? And Ina was the ONLY Myth girl who had such a personal public chatmod, that even got integrated into her lore and got a public character, strange how she got that kind of special treatment when there really didn't seem to be a reason for it (it's not like her chat was especially unruly and needed extra attention, meanwhile three other talents (Kiara/Ame/Gura) had to share one overworked manager (Jenma) for a long time, and didn't receive such favoritism). Kiara was the one I always felt the most connected to since the beginning, because I'm german and so naturally I always wanted to see how the (technically) highest profile german speaking vtuber is doing. I admit it wasn't always easy, at times I was annoyed with her occasionally, but I always continued to check in with her and wanted her to do well.
