Too much of the game's legitimate content is locked behind talking to NPCs and following quest chains and anyone that's watched her BotW streams knows full well how good Mumei is at doing that.

Mumei can shape shift into other animals not just owls right? I remember her saying that at one point. In any case I finally had a dream with Mumei in it. I was going around an industrial complex, some sort of electrical generation area or something, lots of pipes everywhere, recording a friend doing a documentary on it or something. Then we come across two cats, and since I love cats I went over to them and started petting them. One of them actually knocks me over since I have poor balance and hops up to my face and starts rubbing their face against mine. We end up starting to leave and that cat follows me. We get back to the place we are staying and while laying in bed with the cat she transforms into Mumei, and she starts rubbing her face against mine like she was doing as the cat, and then falls asleep with her head on my chest. Then I fell asleep in the dream comfy and cuddling with Mumei.

The real problem is she’s still trying to figure out how to negotiate games with steeper learning curves on stream in an entertaining way that meets her personal standards. Learning brand new games live on stream takes longer and is more stressful than doing it offstream. We all saw it took about three or four streams for her to learn Mario Kart, which was not a complex game, and she made the most progress when she decided to practice offstream that one time and basically got it in an hour. Autism games are that problem with exponentially more mechanics. She avoids them because she feels the process of learning them will either bore or frustrate the audience watching. A potential solution to this is to do tutorials and wiki searching offstream like she did with Planet Zoo part 2, but that requires additional time and probably a level up in her time management skills from where they are currently.

So yeah she does need more time but also will need better time management with what she does offstream to really make it work. I wouldn’t count on it happening soon considering how busy she is.

I like variety but I don't prefer big long RPG / progression games getting pump and dumped.
Would be nice if she settles back in on a few of her current series before losing her way with them but maybe Mumei just ain't that kind of gamer / streamer.

It 's kinda sad because the last BotW stream was pretty good. She had her revenge against the Yiga Clan (since the last didn't worked so well for her) and we had the usual silliness with the deer riding and th exploration (that didn't worked too well either). I think this was the point where she gave up originally, something like right before or after the second beast dungeon.
