Bad at playing the part of tsun after management pushed them together from the start. Kiara watched other Holo's for at least 6 months before she was hired and had an idea of how they acted on screen for teetee and shipping shit, Mori had no knowledge of Hololive prior to applying and did no research once she was accepted. It lead to one person really playing in to established tropes and the other flopping around not knowing what to do with them, which can c9me off as rude, especially when it's the tsun who can't play with it well.
Beyond that, I do think Kiara might have been a bit clingy to Mori. She was depressed as fuck having gone to Japan on her last 1 year temp visa and getting locked inside the whole time because of Covid. It ruined her personal plans so she shut herself in and consumed Pekora all day. Once she got in and met Mori through whatever introductions they had behind the scenes setting up for debut, they hit it off a little and hing out more often in person. Kiara had no one else because she couldn't interact with the JP until post debut and post 1 month collab ban, so she had only Mori and became emotionally reliant on her.
Move to feb, Mori has TT connection and is hanging out with them, Kiara is leaving Japan. Kiara was kinda emotionally unstable for about a month after moving back to Austria and once she built back up her friendships back home, she sprung right back (around June). Mori ghosted the shit out of her because she was too emotionally demanding and it's a lot harder to have a super meaningful friendship when you're 1/3rd of the world away. Kiara started to pull away from TakaMori, but did it slowly because it was so engrained into her fanbase and she wasn't looking for a huge explosion of angry fans. She felt shoehorned by the casual viewers into the ship and finally outright stated that it was over, or at least to the level that it was at for the first 4 or 5 months.
