Yes it is doomposting. She literally started living in a better home environment the second KusoDad went on the loose. Her mental health has been up and down but she is manic depressive that is kind of the norm it's just she actually has a group of people who know how bad things really are and can support her vs before when it was basically just her bearing it all on her own while keeping everyone at arms length.

It's more likely her home situation would've stayed the same and she would've succeeded in killing herself if she had never quit. So if by mean dodging a bullet you mean the first instance of a talent offing themselves then yes. Her quitting and surviving after jumping from 7 stories was what made her realize she needed to take her depression seriously, eventually leading to getting out of her home situation and improving her mental health. Who knows how that would've went otherwise.
She's more a menhera due to her family than someone like Matsuri or Kiara whose reasons arguably involve more of an internal struggle. The closest comparison is Kanata if she had never moved out desu, and Haachama's family also sucks. Both also are clearly affected by their families, and I think Delta was affected in a similar way through verbal abuse and being told to quit her job.
Tldr Delta, Kanata and Haachama are passive menhera, reacting to the events and circumstances around them, while Matsuri, Kiara and Noel are active menhera, causing the events and making the decisions that lead them down that path. The biggest difference between the two is that passive menhera are more likely to internalize their depression due not feeling in control of their own life, leading to more self-deprication and likelihood of self harm/hatred, while active menhera are more likely to lash out at others while also experiencing self hatred. So Delta would've been more of a threat to herself than anyone else. Would she definitely have killed herself? If she was as open with her members as Polka is then maybe not, but her suicide attempt soon after graduating was the wake up call she needed, and it might've never come otherwise.

Nah I like Delta, that was just my interpretation. That actually does make sense, I meant to frame my response as a reason why she would've been more of a threat to herself than someone else and to explain her menhera tendencies and how their compare to and differ from some of the holo members. The suicide stuff was really only relevant in the beginning and intro. My intro was a bit rash desu, which is why I tried to make the end more open ended. The purpose of that was more that we don't know what would've happened if she hadn't quit, and that her quitting resulted in her getting out her situation faster than if there hadn't been some catalyst. Worse, with slow build up over time rather than a reactionary attempt, it could've been even more serious. Chat, the holos and staff could've helped, but it would've taken more time that she would be left in a shitty environment. It's also noteworthy that after her attempt Kusodad and her started just avoiding each other instead. Was her quitting a better decision than staying in regards to her situation? Not necessarily, if her friends convinced her to move out instead of a suicide attempt having been the reason then fuck yeah staying would've been the better option. So no, I don't think the faster solution was necessarily better since it left her in the hospital which fucking sucks, and I do think she could've gotten help. The latter I did overlook in regards to Gen 5 when writing my previous response, my b. Also yeah fuck nijiniggers. Now that I think about it yeah you're right, not sure why I thought the known, fast outcome would've been better than the unknown one when the known one was a fix but also super shitty.
